Aparthotels op Fiji

"Gloednieuw appartement met mooie keuken, living, terras, slaapkamer met airco en badkamer, vlakbij bushalte gelegen. Zwembad is heerlijk. Mooi zicht op het water. Wel veel wind en nog niet veel schaduw (boompjes moeten nog wat groeien 😊) Vriendelijke dame die makkelijk te bereiken is via whatsapp voor wanneer je een vraag hebt. Heel behulpzaam."

Ik ben ziek geworden door de airco. Jammer dat deze in het plafond is ingewerkt en de hele tijd op jou blaast. Uitdoen is 's nachts geen optie wegens te warm.

TV deed het niet, klein minpuntje

Wij werden door de taxi niet bij het juiste straatnummer afgezet en het duurde even voordat we de receptie gevonden hadden (er is een adres voor de receptie en een voor het appartement en hij zat er tussenin). Er zijn heel veel Miraflores Apartments in Miraflores, de naam kan beter. Taxichauffeur bleef netjes bij ons totdat het opgelost was, prima.

Geen kamer slippers geen tandenborstel.

"Mona was exceptionally helpful and communicated clearly to get me settled in. The room was spotlessly clean and the maid service kept it in excellent shape. The staff at the building were friendly and helpful, especially security who looked after our car,"

It is a little hard to find and it might not be a bad idea to have some instructions in thai for the driver, we spent a while locating it. Once found it was easy enough to find again.

Wellicht dat men het als een nadeel ziet. Appartement ligt op 20 min (met Luas) afstand van de stad. Was voor ons geen nadeel.

"It was a very nice stay. The hotel is located at the very seaside. The beach is clean and has a lot of space. The owner and the guys at reception are very friendly and helping. The pool is big, nice, and clean, and can substitute the sea during the windy days. There was an everyday cleaning with 2 times a week towels change. The location of the hotel is perfect, not in the very noisy area but close to any attraction/facility. The prices at the bar/restaurant are similar to the prices of others."

The only minus to me were the Russians that stayed there as they cannot behave civilized. It was pleasant to stay at the hotel with Europeans.

"Sehr gute Lage. Strand wenige Meter entfernt. Preiswert. Einfaches Frühstück im zugehörigen Restaurant zu kleinem Preis zubuchbar, dort auch Abendessen möglich. Sehr netter Eigner, der sich sehr gut um die Gäste kümmert."

Je moet je realiseren dat dit geen hotel is. Er is dus geen restaurant, fitness of bar

"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

"prima plek! Heerlijk om na 2 weken zeilen weer in normaal bed te slapen. Mooie lokatie, was wel ff zoeken om te vinden. Maar vriendelijke dame was ook na sluitingstijd bereikbaar."

The height and flight of stairs.

"The hotel very near to the ski resort . Walking distance 5min to phoenix ski . Infront of the hotel got CU mart . If you guys plan to stay here ..please stop at pyeongchang station . 15-20min to the hotel by Uber ."

"Very nice apartment in a quiet place with a beautiful view of nature with good air, good instructions on how to get to the apartment, very convenient with an electric lock with a code. Nearby is the Moldovan embassy, two steps away (for those who care). I recommend!"

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with directions to/from the property and allowing me to stay in the bar area until I went to the bus station in the evening."

The room was basic (ie basic bathroom, wardrobe, tv, no desk) and was in the process of being cleaned when I arrived, but then this could be reflected in the 'budget' cost I paid for the accommodation.

"Slaapgedeelte met prima airconditioning, mooi en groot bad en douche gedeelte. Dagtochten, huurauto en rondvluchten zijn te boeken bij de accommodatie. Leo helpt je bij de keuze en houd je goed op de hoogte via whatsapp. Ontbijt wordt 's morgens bezorgt bij je accommodatie op een tijdstip dat het jou uitkomt. Verse koffie wordt tijdens het ontbijt gezet. In het appartement is 24/7 heet water te tappen."

Helaas ligt de accommodatie buiten het centrum van Koror, wel op loopafstand (20 minuten) maar via een drukke hoofdweg, waar maar weinig ruimte is voor wandelaars. In het donker is het geen ideale route. Het boeken van een huurauto tijdens je verblijf is zeker een must.

"Lekker verkoelend zwembad, goede bedden, balkon met uitzicht op zee, schoon, aardige gastvrouw, je kunt de auto voor de deur kwijt. Ietwat basic, maar zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van vliegveld Dubrovnik (5 minuten rijden)"

In de hitte is het nog een redelijk pittig loopje naar het centrum, vooral terug heuvel op. Klein half uur.

"St John is a beautiful Island. This condo was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the balcony out back."

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

"everything was just perfect and the stuff was super amazing people like Tima, Cecilia and Fanya also the chef, was my first time being in Mozambique and I was lucky to choose 40/40 accomodation for my stayand it motivated me to come back again that side spends my holidays."

Network was poor but I can't blame the guesthouse it's was also everywhere I went in Mozambique.

The internet not that fast as expetced…

"Fantastisch verblijf gehad. Heerlijk ruim appartement (en het appartement naast me was nog een stuk groter zag ik, ik vond de mijne al erg groot), voorzien van alles dat je nodig hebt. Zelfs een strandstoel, parasol of koeltas kun je zo meenemen. Ideaal! Luxe badkamer ook en een lekker bed. Communicatie met de verhuurder gaat soepel via app en de dame die bij het uitchecken was, was super vriendelijk. Wat een topper!"

Het was iets verder lopen naar het strand en de bushalte dan ik had gedacht. Zelf niet goed genoeg op de kaart gekeken (je moet om het natuurgebiedje / salina heen). Een minuut of tien (in de volle zon) voor je op het strand bent. Dat valt reuze mee en je kunt het dus prima lopen, maar je moet je er even op instellen :-)

"Ligging aan het strand, alle kamers zeezicht, goed bed, goed restaurant en gratis gebruik van diverse watersport artikelen (supboard, kano, waterschoenen, snorkel uitrusting reddingsvest). Vriendelijk personeel (vooral de gastheer (Henry?) en dame in het restaurant waren top!"

Geen gratis wifi, wat gekocht moest worden en amper werkte. Weinig direct in de buurt. Verder was alles prima. Er stond een extra bed in de kamer, wat alleen maar in de weg staat als je maar met 2 personen bent. Er is ook weinig kastruimte.

"It's located in a very nice place. 5-10 minutes from the beach, close to supermarket and restaurant. The hotel has very nice territory. The room is cosy and quite comfortable. It was very quiet, because we were at the end of the season and there were almost no people there. Very nice terrace. But you need to have something against mosquitoes (we bought in supermarket candles with citrone, which cost nothing and work very well)."

I was reading negative reviews about showers, but when I got there for the first time, I had almost claustrophobia, but to be honest, I also had worse. The water is hot and with strong flowing, so it's not so bad. I don't understand why we got so a lot of keys, special that half of them you don't use. Also, the kitchen has a very basic thing, but it was no sponge for washing dishes, only one knife, no grinder for cheese, and no vine glasses. Ventilation in the kitchen doesn't work. In the room was cold, while outside was warm, which would be nice in summer, but we were in October. So i was always cold inside in the evening and night. But you can't keep everything open, otherwise you will have a lot of mosquitoes. Also, the bed for me was not so comfortable. When my husband was moving, I almost had seasickness. The hotel has they own "parking", but to get there you need to go through some dump, you should to be very careful there, and sign for this place very small so easy to miss it, when just arrived.

"It is a very special location. The large rock pool is absolutely unique. Great for swimming and looking at coral fish. We have never seen this at any other place we stayed."

"كل شي في المكان جميل، منطقة مراسي فيها كل ما تحتاج من اسواق ومطاعم وسينما وبحر، فعلًا لا تحتاج ان تخرج من المنتجع. شكر خاص للأخ Tayyab والأخت ريم على التواصل الدايم والسؤال قبل الوصول وبعد المغادرة، كان تعامل أكثر من رائع."

"Location and view from balcony of the sea and Orient Bay amazing, sit and watch the sunrise. Walk along the beach to restaurants and bars in the day and evening. Linda was there to greet us, very friendly and helpful. Apartment clean and comfortable. Small shop onsite for bread etc, everyone friendly lots of wild life, birds, bearded dragons and donkeys!"
