Hostels in Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea

"Schoon rustig hostal. Met gebruik van keuken en wasmachine. Airco. Contant gepast betalen. Kreeg naam voor een driver/gids: smooth operators, heel goed bevallen."

De ligging was verder uit het centrum dan ik ingeschat had. Openbaar vervoer is niet zo best.

"Perfect location within a couple of minutes' walk from the main train station (and a big mall with a supermarket open until late), surprisingly quiet for being in the very centre of the city, exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Very satisfied, thank you so much!"

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.

All the extra touches to make it homey. Also there is a great laundry mat right next door. I have stayed there several times.(lol at the hostel. Not the laundry mat)"

"Het hostel was schoon, onze kamer zat tegen over de douches en wc's. Dit was top geen last van gehad. Daarnaast ligt het hostel een beetje van het centrum af maar de metro verbinding is top. Wij kwamen na middernacht aan maar het was nog mogelijk om in te checken!!"

Onze kamer had geen raam waardoor het na het slapen muf en stonk. Het was moeilijk om de guur uit de kamer te krijgen. De enige oplossing was door de deur naar de gang open te zetten. Veder rest was het hostel uitermate uitstekend!!

"We konden onze grote 4x4 binnen de hekken parkeren. Het is een mooie locatie en we werden vriendelijke ontvangen. Onze kamer was precies zoals omschreven; ruim en twee aparte bedden met klamboe. De wc en douche zaten om de hoek en waren simpel maar schoon. Het zwembad is heerlijk, er is een keuken aanwezig met grote tafel en je kan heerlijk schaken met zelfgemaakte schaakstukken. We konden ook nog mooie craft souvenirs kopen. In de avond was de keuken gesloten maar de eigenaar heeft ons geholpen en pizza besteld. Aanrader!"

"Quiet area just off the Main Street. 10mins walk from the beach. Clean, cozy and chill vibes. Conducive environment to interact with other guests as well. Friendly hosts who provided great information on surrounding attractions."

"We verbleven in een tweepersoonskamer met eigen badkamer. De kamer was schoon, netjes en comfortabel. We konden onze motorfietsen goed en veilig parkeren binnen het hek. Het was leuk andere reizigers te ontmoeten die ook in het hostel verbleven. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was erg goed!"

"De mede-eigenaar van het hostel is een heel vriendelijke en attente persoon. Hij geeft je uitleg over wat er te doen is in de buurt hoe je naar het treinstation kan lopen dat maar 10' wandelen is van de locatie en je eventueel de trein naar de airport kan nemen. Maar met een Grab is het ongeveer 20' indien niet te druk verkeer en is heel goedkoop. Eetgelegenheden in de buurt Er wordt heel goede koffie gezet op een professionele manier ook Goed verblijf voor 1 nacht voor of na een internationale vlucht"

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"Gezellig, goede faciliteiten (douches en wc), schoon, keuken ruim en gezellig en schoon, fijn dat er heel veel koelkasten zijn die een kamer indeling hebben: lekker geordend en overzichtelijk, fijn gratis kant en klare koffie in de ochtend, fijn dat de schoenen uit moeten: lekker schoon binnen. Meerdere comfortabele zit plekken om te chillen. Vrouwen kamer ook fijn en knus"

Kan niet iets bedenken

"Typical hostel with own room and bathroom with shared kitchen space. Very clean and tidy and also a large lounge and terrace for relaxing. Staff very friendly and the location is excellent, just a 1 min. walk to the lovely Poe beach."

"The funky Dodo is in a perfect location for exploring the charming town of Hopkins. It's a wonderful hostel. We had a private room with really great beds and a nice, large room. It's close to the beach and close to great restaurants and bars. You can also cook for yourself. We had a wonderful four-day stay here."

WiFi kan beter maar weet niet of dat aan het hostel ligt of aan de provider.
