"Location was perfect and the house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were awesome and even brought us fresh picked fruit. The view from the front room with its oversized sliding door is spectacular. This picture was taken right out the front door."

"Locatie was perfect om Reykjavik te bezoeken. Op 200 meter heb je bushalte Klambratun waar je met buslijn 3(BSI busterminal) of 6 direct in het centrum bent. Lijn 55 brengt je naar de luchthaven. De citycard geeft je trouwens toegang tot gratis openbaar vervoer. Indien je dit niet wenst, wandel je ongeveer 15 minuten tot het centrum. De eigenaars van het guesthouse waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. Voor ons is die hele poespas 's morgens niet nodig."

Het viel niet echt tegen maar het was een beetje jammer dat je gedurende de dag de koffiemachine niet kan gebruiken. Na een lange wandeling of een uitstap kan een tas koffie deugd doen.

"Wij waren zoooo goed ontvangen van de gastheer en we voelden ons onmiddellijk in vakantiestemming. We kregen een drankje en moesten zelfs niet meer op zoek gaan om eten. Er werd heerlijk gekookt voor ons voor een aanvaardbare prijs. Een heel mooi stijlvolle villa met prachtige tuin. Op een goede locatie."

Er waren wel wat muggen, dus sprayen is de boodschap. Ik kan anders niks opmerken. De électriciteit viel hier ook even uit. Wat vaak gebeurd in Afrika

Het is een eenvoudige accommodatie, daar moet je je op instellen. Ook verbleven wij er tijdens de eerste koude nacht in de bergen en hadden we twee dekens en kleding nodig om warm te blijven. Daar kan de accommodatie verder weinig aan doen, maar wel goed om je te realiseren.

"Wat een goede plek! Genet zorgde voor een zachte landing in het drukke Addis Abeba. Wat een fijn mens. Wijs, oprecht en authentiek. We genoten van de heerlijke ontbijtjes met haar en de gesprekken die we hadden. Genet zorgde voor vervoer vanaf het vliegveld, een gids, belde ride voor ons, zorgde voor een telefoonkaart en tipte Fendika cultureel centrum (voor ons het hoogtepunt van het bezoek aan de stad). Het enige nadeel is dat het guesthouse vrij ver van het centrum ligt. Zeker in de spits ben je lang onderweg. Genet, Martha en Sofia, thank you very much."

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

"Great place to stay. Very close to bus stop. Restaurant up the road and service station shop nearby too. Beds were very comfortable and AC was very good. Price is good, especially for Bermuda."

"Alles ziet er prachtig uit, het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en ook het 3 gangen diner was heerlijk!! Onze bungalow was stijlvol ingericht en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Het kleine bad naast de bungalow was heerlijk om in af te koelen na een lange dag aan het strand. Solange en haar personeel zijn zeer behulpzaam. We mochten zelfs langer in onze bungalow blijven omdat we een late vlucht hadden en zo nog even konden douchen. Wij raden Les Hibiscus zeker aan!!"

"Fantastich vrijstaande charmante oude villa met veel houtsnij werk. Zeer goed en huiselijk in gericht met veel chil ruimte en een tuin. Kortom een thuis gevoel. Een schat van een vrouw die je verwelkomt en heel veel voor je regelt. Beter kan niet!"

"Mooi, zeer goed voorziene bungalow -4 bungalows op een rij-gelegen in een prachtige park met veel vogels, bloemen, planten. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede internet verbinding. Het is er rustig en niet zo heet als aan de kust. Als alle bungalows bezet zijn kan dat misschien wat geluidsoverlast geven maar er is zeker genoeg privacy. Wij waren erg blij met de informatieve rondleiding door het park, nog eens dank ervoor! In het dorp zijn wat winkels en een paar km verderop richting Basse Terre is een grote superU. Het is ons uitstekend bevallen."

"A very nice hotel in a gated area. Clean and safe. Excellent, helpful, and warm-hearted staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Fast Wi-Fi connection. The best hotel experience in the entire Republic of the Congo so far."

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

"Lovely owners who are caring and helpful. They kindly provided a few names of local tour guides. Nice shower. Good kitchen. Quiet. Close the town."

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. "The stay was lovely, nice property owner and hostess. The house was clean and very spacious which I liked."

I wish I could’ve stayed longer. However I wished the shower head had more water power behind it the water ran slowly and it was hard to catch warm and hot water. I would have personally liked air conditioning, however overall it was a nice stay.

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"Simpele kamers maar super schoon, fijne douche, goede koelkast en heerlijke bedden. De keuken was ook altijd schoon en hygiënisch. Er zijn genoeg plekjes om lekker te zitten, ook voor het ontbijt. Goed en gratis parkeren bij de accommodatie. Het personeel, wij zijn ontvangen door Magdy, is ook super vriendelijk en denkt met ons mee. Voor ons was de locatie top, onze vrienden wonen dichtbij en je kan makkelijk wandelen naar het gezellige plantsoen Marie Pampoen en naar Pietermaai/Punda. Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad hier!"

Alles was goed

"Nette ruime kamer met de nodige faciliteiten (waterkoker, broodrooster, magnetron, koelkast). Mooi aangelegde tuin."

In het plaatsje zelf is niet veel te beleven maar dat kan de locatie niets aan doen.

"De locatie is top - daarnaast is de communicatie met de eigenaar gemakkelijk en ze doen dagelijks hun best om er voor de zorgen dat je een heel fijn verblijf hebt."

De kamers waren relatief warm. Er was een airco in de kamer, maar helaas geen afstandsbediening beschikbaar.

"Nothing fancy about the breakfast. It was very fresh and clean though. Burger, boiled egg, milk pudding, banana and self-served drinks."

We did not come across anything we disliked although the room wasn’t as spacious as what it seemed on the web.
