Hostels in Mauritanië

"Everything. The place is beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. You can really feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. The chill areas are great to relax, and the breakfast was more than decent. Amélie, the owner, is an amazing host – so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her Auberge is truly a dream."

The only small downside was the location being a bit far from the central bus station, but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall great experience.

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. De host is een erg blije en vriendelijke man. Alles is "no problem"."

"De locatie was geweldig we hadden een prive kamer met douch met geweldig uitzicht. Het personeel is geweldig aan de receptie die ons heeft geholpen met de was service en boven een leuke man aan de bar waar je kan genieten van prachtig uitzicht."

De kamers zijn wat gehorig. Maar als je kijkt naar de prijs en het uitzicht van deze kamer maakt dat echt niets uit. Ik ga zeker nog eens terug.

The tap at the kitchen is likking while open. Somw floor tales must be fixed. One of the light bulbs needs replacement.

"The host was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Hostel was close to the center. It was a pleasure to enjoy peacefulness here. Bed was good to sleep. Nice mountainview from the windows. Internet worked perfectly. Shop and museum is very close like villages other services as well."

"Superschoon! Heel aardig, behulpzaam personeel. Grote keuken met ruime koelkast. Erg leuk aangekleed. Per bed op slaapzaal eigen lampje, locker, leesplankje, gordijntje, kapstok. Zeer goed georganiseerd, met één nummer voor je schoenenkastje, je keukenkastje, je locker. Aparte badkamer met wc voor vrouwen, heel fijn! Van te voren goede informatie van eigenaar gekregen."

De matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe, 2 van de 3 waarop ik gelegen heb zakken door, zitten kuilen in. Een aparte vrouwenslaapzaal zou een goede aanvulling zijn (want helaas snurkten alle mannen op de mixed dorms).

"Ruime kamer met veel licht, heel huiselijk. Groot dakterras, ook terras beneden. Goede ligging, rustig vlakbij de zee. Ontspannen sfeer. Lekker ontbijt inbegrepen."

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"Een geweldige goed hotel, direct in het centrum van Amman, de drukste winkelstraat van Amman. Er is een lift aanwezig, er is geen keuken, ontbijt is super goed, geen lawaai in de kamer. Warme douche en toilet in de kamer Prima accommodatie voor dat geld"

Ik had een eigen kamer met douche en toilet geboekt, maar er kwam geen warm water uit de douche. De vorige twee keer dat ik hier verbleef, was dat ook zo.
