Het centrum is wat ver gelegen. Bus gaat een tot 2 keer per uur.

"Wil in het speciaal Ira bedanken voor haar gastvrijheid en tips voor in de stad. Het was een warm welkom."

Bedden kraken wel als je je omdraait.

"De sfeer in het hostel was gemoedelijk. Fijne huiskamer om lekker te kunnen neerploffen op één van de banken, lekkere stoelen om voor de haard te zitten en tafels om bijvoorbeeld spelletjes te doen."

Een waterkoker op de kamer zou handig zijn om snel even een kopje thee te zetten.

"Hartelijk ontvangst en vriendelijke eigenaars. De bedden zijn opgemaakt en er zijn handdoeken ter beschikking. Er is airco aanwezig wat in de zomer erg handig is. In de keuken wordt er gratis koffie en thee aangeboden. Er staat ook een frigo die kan gebruikt worden. Voor de mannen waren er 3 douches wat ideaal was."

De locatie is wat afgelegen.

"I had a truly wonderful stay here. The front desk staff was incredibly nice, patient, and easy to talk to, he made the whole experience even better. The hotel has everything you would need, including a hair dryer. The bathroom and shower were especially great, very clean and comfortable. I was also really touched by the sign at the entrance of the bathroom clearly stating “Female Toilet, males not allowed.” It shows real respect for women and made me feel very safe. Little details like this genuinely warm your heart. I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating on Booking. If the full score is 10, I would definitely give it a 10. Thank you again, I truly loved my stay here."

"Kelly and his family are amazing hosts. We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

bungalow needs refreshing

"Het makkelijk in- en uitchecken, de fijne kamers en bedden, de schone douches en wc's en de locatie van het verblijf net buiten Vik. Een heerlijke plek om allerlei bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving te bezoeken."

Een van de weinige plekken waar ik geen latte met havermelk kon bestellen :-)

"- Omgeving was prachtig - Personeel was zeer vriendelijk - Hygiëne was goed (elke dag schoonmaak) - Hostel waarbij veel nationaliteiten samen komen - Er was een zeer unieke sfeer. Zo bijzonder goed dat het bijna niet te beschrijven is."
