"Er was geen ontbijt, maar dat was vooraf al duidelijk"

De chauffeur die ons van het vliegveld haalde had niet het goede bord met namen bij zich, dus veel verwarring. Fout van het hotel?

"Erg goedkoop voor zo'n toeristische locatie, maar dat zag je er zeker niet aan af. Grote kamer en badkamer en we kregen zelfs een koelkast op de kamer na gevraagd te hebben om het water koud te leggen."

Het avondeten kun je beter in het stadje Wadi Musa zelf halen.

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.

"We hadden last minute een gewone kamer geboekt, maar kregen een suite met een aparte zitkamer. Het hotel ligt aan het centrale plein van het stadje. We kregen vooraf ook een heel lange en sympathieke mail van de uitbaatster die je een goed beeld gaf van wat je wel en niet mocht verwachten."

Ik vond de bedden wat hard, en omdat we een kamer aan de voorkant hadden, hoorden we ook het geratel van de autobanden op de kasseien aan het centrale plein.

"Such a cool place to stay! Close to a few beautiful Ukrainian villages and walks. The staff and reception are 💯 helpful with everything. The food and bar is very good , polite and friendly waiting staff 🤍"

It was all perfect!

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

There wasn’t anything we disliked.

"De ruimte was groot en schoon, en je kunt zowel voor privacy als voor een gemeenschappelijke ruimte kiezen. Aardige mensen."

De ligging is wat achteraf en de taxichauffeur moest meerdere keren bellen voordat de dame naar buiten kwam. Ook was de overeengekomen prijs online volgens de dame niet voldoende, dus heb ik uiteindelijk meer moeten betalen.

"De locatie was zeer moeilijk te bereiken wegens grote infrastructuur werkzaamheden. Ik heb toen de eigenaar gebeld (omstreeks 23.30) en hij is me komen ophalen. Aangekomen in het hotel vroeg hij me of ik nog iets wou eten. Hij is dan nog beginnen koken voor mij."

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

"Úžasný pan a paní domácí. ❤️ Moc ochotní lidé. Stále k dispozici. Kdybych se vrátila do Ulcinj, určitě bych toto ubytování zvolila znovu. Chybí mi ty naše snídaně na hezké terase. Měli jsme slunný pokojík, na pravé straně, směr k ulici."

Měli jsme to trochu dál od Velké pláže a začátek Velké pláže je přeplněný turisty, tak jsme museli každý den jezdit autem. Ke starému městu také daleko. Ale bylo to blízko k hezké skalnaté části a živé ulici na začátku Velké pláže. V ubytování mne překvapila společná kuchyň, ale nakonec jsme si zvykli a byla možnost poznat i naše sousedy, hehe. 👍🏻

Voor ons was alles prima.

"Ik werd heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Ik kon mijn bagage achterlaten totdat ik kon inchecken. Alles is erg schoon. De kamer is sober en niet erg sfeervol, maar dat was prima voor deze prijs. Ik kreeg een groot bed in mijn eentje, dat was fijn! Locatie super, het pension rustig en stil. Perfect voor één nachtje, aanrader!"

"Endroit propre, calme et propice à la détente. Literie d'excellente qualité. Agréable piscine, suffisamment grande pour pouvoir nager et non seulement barboter ! Extérieur très agréable (Cuisine extérieure, plantes et magnifique vue sur le ciel étoilé !). Très bon accueil par l'hôte."

Essayer de voir avec Google Map la problématique de la direction GPS qui n'est pas la bonne... Merci à l'hôte qui, devant mon désespoir, est venu à ma rencontre ! Cette remarque ne remet nullement en cause la qualité de l'hébergement.

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a large group."

Everything was perfect.

"Het pension is misschien iets gedateerd maar dat heeft ook weer zijn charme. De ligging is heel fijn op 15 rijden vanaf het meer van Bled."

De douche op de gang is wel erg klein.

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?
