"Hele vriendelijke ontvangst, host heel bubbly en leuk. Goede toegangsweg en lekker rustig met een paar andere huurders naast je."

Veel afval rondom in de struiken, geen buiten zit plaats, keuken niet volledig (alleen maar vorken en geen messen). Het nodigde niet uit om zelf te koken. Wel zeep in de badkamer, geen shampoo. Airconditioning had veel lawaai

"Large balcony with view to the patio. Breakfast served was great; plus guests could choose from several types of breakfast - everyone should find sth suitable according to ones preferences. Room was clean, bed comfy and shower had hot water."

Internet connection was terribly slow, we cannot watch TV.

"Locatie was perfect om Reykjavik te bezoeken. Op 200 meter heb je bushalte Klambratun waar je met buslijn 3(BSI busterminal) of 6 direct in het centrum bent. Lijn 55 brengt je naar de luchthaven. De citycard geeft je trouwens toegang tot gratis openbaar vervoer. Indien je dit niet wenst, wandel je ongeveer 15 minuten tot het centrum. De eigenaars van het guesthouse waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. Voor ons is die hele poespas 's morgens niet nodig."

Het viel niet echt tegen maar het was een beetje jammer dat je gedurende de dag de koffiemachine niet kan gebruiken. Na een lange wandeling of een uitstap kan een tas koffie deugd doen.

"Het bed was comfortabel om in te slapen en romantisch old fashion, maar wat hoog om in te stappen. Er was een bed lamp aan beide zijden van het bed en elektriciteit naast het bed. De kamer kon opgewarmd worden hoewel de kamer groot en hoog was. Er was een zetel, er waren tafels en stoelen. Er was een keuken met weinig gerief die niet uitnodigde om te koken. Er was een gemeenschappelijk terras met een andere kamer. Op het terras waren zetels. Het was er goed zitten, maar niet echt proper. De kamer was net, maar oud en wat rommelig. De badkamer was klein, maar proper. De omgeving was proper, maar gaf een rommelige indruk. Het dorp is net en mooi. Ook de omgeving. Het ontbijt ‘s morgens werd geserveerd in een heel mooi café met een excellent ontbijt door de zeer vriendelijk eigenaar."

Het enige restaurant in de buurt was werkelijk ronduit slecht en er was geen vegetarische optie.

"Mooie huisjes met hartelijke vriendelijke eigenaren. Omgeving was prachtig. Heerlijke honing gekocht. Eten was ook heerlijk. Aardappelsoep als voorgerecht, lekker stukje wild met groente en aarappels. En ijs met lekkere aardbeien."

Alles was goed.

The location was a but challenging, nothing to eat close by or to have a walk, but the owner was driving us everywhere, they were so nice

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

"Fantastich vrijstaande charmante oude villa met veel houtsnij werk. Zeer goed en huiselijk in gericht met veel chil ruimte en een tuin. Kortom een thuis gevoel. Een schat van een vrouw die je verwelkomt en heel veel voor je regelt. Beter kan niet!"

"We had a really wonderful time at Hotel Dionisio Inn! It's close to everything you may want to visit in Antigua and the staff was really wonderful, kind, and attentive. Even if the language barrier, they always remembered what we were up to and asked how things were. Whenever we had a question, they were always ready to help out. It's not often that we've met such helpful and nice staff members. The room was clean, comfortable, and so much better than a lot of other places we stayed at on our trip in Guatemala. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Antigua."

Kamer was wat oud en klein. Vooral toilet en douche was wel echt niet meer van deze tijd.

"Ontzettend mooi en charmant hotel. Wij verbleven in een kamer voor 3 personen met aangrenzend een badkamer. De kamer was zeer ruim met comfortabele bedden. Het hotel heeft een zwembad op de binnenpatio (kan wellicht wat lawaaierig zijn voor de kamers die hieraan grenzen) en een dakterras. Ontbijt was inbegrepen!"

Onze badkamer had geen douchescherm of -gordijn dus de vloer werd nogal nat en daardoor glad, maar dat kan zo verholpen worden.

"Wat een warme ontvangst door de eigenaren. Het appartement is schoon, er werd nog een extra deken gebracht."

Ik vond het matras te hard, maar dat is voor iedereen verschillend natuurlijk.

"Wij waren zoooo goed ontvangen van de gastheer en we voelden ons onmiddellijk in vakantiestemming. We kregen een drankje en moesten zelfs niet meer op zoek gaan om eten. Er werd heerlijk gekookt voor ons voor een aanvaardbare prijs. Een heel mooi stijlvolle villa met prachtige tuin. Op een goede locatie."

Er waren wel wat muggen, dus sprayen is de boodschap. Ik kan anders niks opmerken. De électriciteit viel hier ook even uit. Wat vaak gebeurd in Afrika

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

"had such a great experience staying here. The family who run the hostel are incredibly attentive and genuinely care about making your stay as comfortable as possible. It’s rare to find this level of warmth and hospitality, especially at such an affordable price. The atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxed, and it really makes a difference, beds are super comfortable. The guest house has everything you need!"
