The location is slightly off the track (unless you need a hospital). Its 8 mins from the seafront and main area which is OK but obviously not prime. The price reflects so its fair enough.

"The property is beautiful and in a stunning location. Its about a 10-15 minute drive into Mindelo, so make sure you have a rental car. The villa has everything you could need and is the perfect place to relax after exploring the island."

The bedrooms are below the living room, and do not have internal access (i.e. you need to go outside to get to the bedrooms and between bedrooms). Also, there is no wi-fi or cell reception in the bedrooms.

"Very highly recommended. Nadia's place is a really wonderful 2 bedroom apartment at the best part of Santa Maria in Sal, equipped with everything that you need to feel yourself at home. The nicest beach is minutes away, the center of the town with countless restaurants and bars short walking distance, the fantastic sand dune by Hotel Riu is another 10 min. walk in the other direction. Little supermarkets for all your daily needs are almost on your doorstep. The pool is great and relaxing in the complex. We truly enjoyed our holiday. Nadia helps you in anything that you need from the beginning, organizing the airport transfer for 20€ with a superb taxi. We're surely returning customers.."

Er lag geen wc papier in de toilet, gelukkig na zoeken vonden we deze in een kast. Ook kwamen wij ‘s nachts aan en hadden niks te drinken, was fijn geweest als er een flesje water of iets was geweest.
