"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! I definitely recommend this place either for a lovely ladies night, or a romantic getaway, or a fun holiday with a bunch or friends. Greetings from Joanna and Monika"

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"The homestay was clean, cozy, and exactly like the pictures. The host was really nice and helpful — made us feel so welcome. The location was perfect too, walking distance to nice local breakfast spots."

"De gastvrouwen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en doen hun best om je tevreden te stellen."

Het bed was echt wel een smal. Verder was het ontzettend lastig slapen met blaffende honden, kraaiende hanen en een houtzagerij naast het hotel. Kom hier niet voor je rust!

"Lekker ontbijt en elke dag eenvoudig ,vers en heerlijk avondeten in buffet vorm. Heel aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer mooi uitzicht."

Toegangsweg is vrij avontuurlijk voor een 2 wiel aangedreven auto.

"Heerlijke leuke cottages met alle faciliteiten. Lekker bed en heerlijke douche. Goede service voor bezoek aan chobe. Restaurants en supermarkt om de hoek."

Let op bavianen. Ze stalen bij ons de peper van tafel.

"Ruim opgezet met een grote tuin. Overal vind je kunst gemaakt door de eigenaar. We deden een wijnproeverij en kregen veel te horen over het proces van wijnmaken in Georgie. De eigenaar verkoopt prachtige miniatuurschilderijtjes. We hebben er ook gedineerd en dat was een goede keuze."

Het ontbijt was goed, met vers brood zou het uitstekend zijn geweest.

Me gustaría que hubiera cámara de seguridad en la parte de afuera, que es donde quedan los vehículos.

"Gezellig en comfortabel huis met leuke kleine tuin en terras. Volledige privacy en parkeerplek voor de deur. Rustig gelegen en op loopafstand van een mooie baai van het meer. Heel schoon en verzorgd. De vloerverwarming in de badkamer was erg aangenaam. Zeer hartelijke gastvrouw en gastheer."

Iets minder handig dat je via de badkamer/toilet naar de tweede slaapkamer moet.

"Brilliant location, peaceful and quiet. Views were lovely. Cabin was cosy and warm. Everything that we needed was there. It was spacious and the kids had a brilliant time. Alan was a great host and very accommodating."

Los sofás del salón eran bastante incomodos

"It was near the big mall and all the supplies you need even if it’s far away from the airport."

The wifi sometimes doesn’t work. And just needed to have more kitchen ware other than that the place is amazing.

"Hele mooie en rustige omgeving. Veel groen en dichtbij Vogel en het meer van Bohinj. We hebben hier ook lekker uitgerust onder de parasol met onze dochter van 1 jaar. Bedankt Jaka"
