Luxe tenten in Libanon

"Een fantastische luxe tent met veel ruimte die smaakvol is ingericht met veel steigerhout, Fatboy lamp en zitzak, een barbecue en badkamer met Omdat het in juni nog niet zo druk op de camping was, was het super rustig. Heerlijk die stilte. Uitzicht op het groen. Het terras is enorm groot. Er is een fijn zwembad op de camping. De buitenkeuken, grote eettafel en bank buiten zijn geweldig."

Wij waren met z'n tweeën en hadden meer dan genoeg ruimte, maar als je 3 kinderen in het 2e piepkleine slaapkamertje ( met 3 stapelbedden) kwijt moet, dan is het proppen. Dan kun je je koffers/ tassen niet kwijt. De WiFi was niet geweldig Het campingwinkeltje heeft niet veel te bieden.

"Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!"

The location is misleading. The place is actually inside the beduiwen village which is crowded by animals and noise. My friend wasnt able to sleep. as for me it was not a problem.

Had a bit of unfinished look about the premises though the geodesic domes were great.

"Our stay was amazing! The staff was super nice, they organized a transfer from Lompoul sur Mer to the location, they came with us to the beach and played football together with mbalax, then they came with us to the nearby desert and helped us organize a cab to Dakar airport. The food was also really good. Overall it has been an excellent stay!"

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

Staying only 1 night ((

"Ik kan moeilijk kiezen, maar de gastvrijheid en warmte waarmee we onthaald werden, spanden de kroon. Het kwam allemaal recht uit het hart. De nachtwandeling die we deden, het boottochtje, de thee en koekjes die ze ons brachten toen we ‘s avonds aankwamen. De dieren en vogels! De ongelooflijke gezellige setting aan de rivier. De deskundig geleide safaritocht. Het is gewoon te veel om op te noemen! 😅"

Niets! Zelfs met de slechtste wil van de wereld kan ik er niets op aanmerken. :)

"Het was een erg gave ervaring. Het tentenkamp was lekker knus, het eten was lekker, de gidsen waren erg vriendelijk en de locatie was perfect."

We baalden dat wij geen Frans konden, hierdoor was het heel lastig om te communiceren met de gidsen

"the slecuded. quiet peaceful grounds, the air circulation of sleeping in the tent, air flow thru mesh mosquito mesh, out side enclosed bathroom facilities,the yoga barn and good selection of books to to read in comfy arm chairs very nice plunger coffee with plunger ,over all a very pleasant 5 nights spent at this echo retreat"

maybe fresh seasonal fruit platter for breakfast as some photos show on their website, but, the muesli and little fruit, apple juice and coconut milk was very adequate

"It was a very comfortable and nice looking place and I got the value for my money. The views were amazing as well."

The staff was kind of noisy in the morning, especially by the kitchen.

"Nice place by the river and mountains in the middle of nature, double room with the shower and toilet. Friendly staff."

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

"- Goede locatie, niet ver van de Alpen. Veel wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving. - De eigenaar heel vriendelijk en voorkomend. Hij legt zijn ziel en zaligheid in zijn complex. - Het terrein was overzichtelijk: Aan de ene kant de permanente houten tenten, aan de andere kant camping. Geen groot complex maar kleinschalig. Heel prettig. - In het midden een kampvuurplek met bbq-gelegenheid."

- Badkamers waren heel goed, 4 keer per dag gereinigd, maar het konden er meer zijn. - Wifi is aanwezig en goed, maar aan het einde van het terrein soms wat minder. Kon wat krachtiger.
