"Went with extended family and had a great time! The layout of the hotel is unusual, and that (at first) made me think that it was a bit small, but hear me out... There are two things that make this an amazing experience: 1.) The clarity of the sea water and the ease of access. 2.) The staff and management are top notch: attention to customer service is second to none in all respects: from the management to the guy taking care of the rooms. Very highly recommended."

"Lovely place to stay, comfortable with everything you need, including a variety of teas and some coffee plus milk which is nice if you have not been shopping. quiet area which felt safe. Can walk into town in about 30 minutes . Best thing though was how incredibly helpful the owner and her cousin nia were. Nia helped us with everything we needed including getting our ferry tickets, finding a taxi and getting from the airport. This was so helpful for us and ensured we had a smooth stay."

"Very nice place for family or group of friends. Very clean and enough room for everyone (no dead bugs inside the house :D) Very peaceful place, only birds singing. Nearby river was the most entertaining part for teenagers. Bottom of the river was bit rocky, but we used shoes for swimming. Would definitely recommend this place for everyone. See you next year!"

"Nice cabin in the jungle. The host was very supportive and waited for us in the apartment. He also gave us tips how to organise ourselfes in the village, which is a bit tricky in those closed areas in the middle of the jungle. The moskito nets where intact in Chez Faby (not in Carbet Bawouette)."

The village-wide WiFi does not work at all. There is free starlink at the grocery shop, otherwise you have no connection in the whole village. Apartment would need a thorough cleaning.

"From the beginning you could realise that Allison thinks of many details and cares a lot. Getting the keys and entering the house was very easy (contactless). The garden, the furniture, the book with housing rules and travel tipps, the cleanliness -> everything planned very well and with great care. Very late checkout was offered. We enjoyed the stay a lot and would clearly recommend it."

It was not clear to us that the pool was shared between 3 houses, don´t know if we just missed it. But in reality it was no issue, it was always empty, when we wanted to use it. Checkout rules could also be mentioned in the book. Despite that, it was still by far the best stay of our holidays.

"Nous avons apprécier tout d'abord la beauté de la maison où il y tout le confort qu'on puisse avoir besoin. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique, dépaysement complet. C'est un havre de paix. On s'y sent vraiment bien et comme chez nous. L'hôte de la maison est vraiment sympathique et prodigue de bons conseils. Superbe séjour."

Nous n'avons vraiment rien à redire sur la maison tant tout y est superbement agencé et ou tout est à notre disposition pour que le séjour se passe superbement bien. Nous n'avons vu aucun points négatifs à cette location.

"Geweldig verblijf! De mooiste villa van de vele villa's die we hebben gehad. Aan alles is er gedacht. Op de dag van vertrek mochten we zelfs langer blijven, top service! Nogmaals onze dank aan de eigenaar."

"A fantastic place. Quiet and peaceful at the end of a canyon. The villa has absolutely everything. You can have a dip in the pool, do a big bbq, explore the nearby canyon or just relax at one of many cozy places. Olya and her family are perfect hosts, very good communication and so nice! We stayed one more night than planned because we loved it so much."

"La Cabaña de Huerta Mar es un ambiente acogedor que brinda calidez y calma. Los anfitriones son personas muy amables y atentas a cualquier necesidad. Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. "Yes, it was a surprise to find that we had breakfast and some supplies so we didn't have to shop on the first day we arrived. also our flight from South Africa didn't arrive until quite late and our taxi was not waiting at the airport so it was very late at night before we got to Villa Mia. In spite of this our hosts were waiting to greet us on arrival, which was much appreciated."

Maybe the host could have dropped in at some time during our stay to see how we were going.

"De locatie is fantastisch en het huisje is heel gezellig. Het dorpje is fantastisch en de mensen zijn heel vriendelijk."

Het inchecken verliep een beetje moeizaam omdat er geen receptie was. Uiteindelijk zijn we wel telefonisch goed geholpen. Het huisje zoeken was ook even een zoektocht. We kregen uiteindelijk een heel ander huisje dan wat we geboekt hadden, maar het huisje was wel heel gezellig.
