"Rustige locatie en met de taxi ben je snel in het centrum (6 min)..Ik had een tweepersoonskamer die erg comfortabel was. De bedden zijn heerlijk en de kamers schoon. Medewerkers zijn erg behulpzaam en denken graag met je mee. Er is een grote keuken waar je zelf kunt koken of iets kunt klaarmaken. Hele goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en 's nachts lekker rustig!"

Je bent afhankelijk van een taxi of auto om naar het centrum te gaan, omdat lopen afgeraden wordt (ik reisde alleen). Op het buitenterrein stonden op vele plekken stoelen, maar geen relax- of ligstoelen om even lekker een boek te lezen. Dat had mijn verblijf nóg aangenamer kunnen maken.

"Zeer behulpzame gastheer en hij spreekt Spaans en Engels. Goed ontbijt en hij gaf allerlei tips voor bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. We mochten wat bederflijke boodschappen in zijn koelkast bewaren en zijn keuken gebruiken om thee te zetten en salade te maken. Super aardig en attent. Ook super schoon. Eigen wc en douche naast de kamer. Er is geen airco, maar in Volcan is het zoveel koeler dat je die beslist niet nodig hebt. Ook zeer rustige en veilige wijk en veel wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving."

De kamer is grotendeels gevuld met 2 grote bedden, daardoor is er geen plek voor een stoel.

"Zeer vriendelijk onthaal door eigenaars. Leuk ingerichte kamers en inkomhal gaf leuke sfeer. Ze mensen geven tips waar naartoe te gaan en hoe je dit best kan bereiken. Na een knuffeltje van het schattige hondje kan je vertrekken vanuit een ideaal gelegen locatie dat snel toegang heeft tot snelwegen of York centrum"

Bij een douche te nemen bleek al snel iets mis te lopen. Het water drupte na 1 minuut al tot in de hal langs de muur. Ze gingen dit laten nakijken

"The host was very kind and helpful. He kept me good company and he showed me around his village and Panjakent. The food he served was very good too!"

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"De gastheer Raoul is echt fantastisch. Zijn huis is heel mooi en schoon en gezellig, maar hij zorgt voor de geweldige sfeer. Heerlijk eten, lekkere chacha en enorm gastvrij. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en het bed sliep heerlijk. Het is de ultieme stop na een lange dag hiken. Je gaat geen warmere guesthouse vinden, er is aandacht en liefde in alles gestopt. Wij zouden dit aan iedereen aanbevelen!"

"Great location, owner's pleasant personality, cleanliness, the feeling of home away from home,availability of all basic amenities, quietness, size of the accommodation, and the cost, parking on the enclosed compound added to the feeling of safety. As the first customer, the owners had a toast with me. That was great, unexpected, and exceptional. Will recommend it highly. 9/10"

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"For self catering facilities it is peefect, quiet and have laundry and ao forth included which is reàlly nice... the agent is very reasonable and always there to answer any questions or any concerns... I highly recommend 👌"

If bed mats to be place on both side of the bed and infront the dresser ... but others the property is well equipped.

"I did like the way I was received and was shown around.Kessy is always available when you need her. My advice to anyone is to make sure you communicate the time of your arrival to her in time."

Het stapelbed waarin we sliepen wiebelde erg en stond niet stevig. De matrassen zijn ook redelijk hard

"Erg sfeervol en mooi kleinschalig hotel. Prachtige tuin met zitjes en zwembad, eigen parkeergelegenheid, sfeervol ingericht. Badkamer was ok. Goede stille airco, prima bed wat wel wat krasjes door , ik denk, een soort van plastic hier om het matras. Koffie & thee faciliteiten op de kamer en ook een koelkastje. Prima ontbijt was inclusief."

"Een artistiek ingericht hotel met locatie perfect gelegen in het centrum. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Het ontbijt was basic: brood met boter en (weliswaar uitstekende locale) confituren, koffie en vers appelsiensap. De kamer was groot, zeer proper, het bed beschermd door een muskietennet, de airco en internet werkten prima."

"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

"Easy communication with the owner. The room is relatively small in comparison to the other accommodations, but not a big deal, it's a traditional house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend for 1-2 nights."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

"Weg van de hectiek en chaos van Marrakech: wat een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. Verwacht geen overdaad aan café's en restaurants, je komt hier voor de natuur en om een stukje van het leven van de lokale bevolking te ervaren. De suite was comfortabel met een groot raam waar je in de vensterbank over de vallei kon uitkijken. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten! Als je gaat hiken maken ze zelfs een lunch-to-go voor je klaar."

Het zijn details, want overall was het verblijf goed. De kamer waar we verbleven heeft hier en daar een touch-up nodig en de handdoeken waren volgens mij wat oud en hadden een wat aparte geur: wellicht zouden die vervangen kunnen worden. Tot slot is er niet echt informatie op papier over hikes/trails en dingen om te doen. Die vertelt het personeel je natuurlijk wel, maar het zou ook fijn zijn als je je een beetje kon inlezen in de omgeving in een informatiemap op de kamer. De snelheid van de wifi is matig maar tijdens piek-uren in de avond nog langzamer.

"Net een sprookje! Prachtig chaletje aan een vijvertje! Wel krap met 5 personen, maar zo schattig ingericht en gedecoreerd dat zelfs dat niet uitmaakte. Supervriendelijke eigenaren due snel reageerden toen we met autopech vertraagd waren. Ontvangst met zelfgebakken chocolate chip cookies en een bizar mooie sterrenlucht in de nacht! Had er veel langer willen blijven."

"I have visited many hotels and villas and I must say this was the most cleanest place I have ever been! The hoast was very warm and welcoming, the room was very clean and warm. I will deffinitely say that it is well located and very close to the sea."
