Aparthotels in Paraguay

"The property was clean, well equipped and well maintained. The little beach was lovely with enough sun beds for everyone. There are only 4 restaurants in walking distance (one was around d 18 mins up the hill on the main road) and one bar that closes at 7pm. The Bucaneer shop is not very well stocked and the nearest supermarket is a drive away."

The pool was cleaned daily but could do with a midday skim as there’s a lot of tree debris that falls in. The beach is a thoroughfare for cruisers that have been dropped off for the day to get to the public beach

We konden om 15.00 uur nog niet inchecken omdat de kamer nog niet klaar was. Was na een half uur wel gereed, maar niet fijn na een lange reis.

Cleaning service could come more often

"Het was een fantastisch appartement met dakterras (zolderverdieping) met uitzicht op het kasteel. Het appartement is schoon, sfeervol en comfortabel. En het ontbijt was fantastisch!"

"Deze kleine studio is gezellig ingericht. Het was er zeer stil. De badkamer was top. De ontvangst bij inchecken was prima."

De matras was iets te hard voor mij. De kitchenette is niet echt voorzien op zelf koken; potten waren te groot zodat er geen 2 naast elkaar konden staan; er zijn geen kruiden, koffie of thee aanwezig.

"Ligging aan het strand, alle kamers zeezicht, goed bed, goed restaurant en gratis gebruik van diverse watersport artikelen (supboard, kano, waterschoenen, snorkel uitrusting reddingsvest). Vriendelijk personeel (vooral de gastheer (Henry?) en dame in het restaurant waren top!"

Geen gratis wifi, wat gekocht moest worden en amper werkte. Weinig direct in de buurt. Verder was alles prima. Er stond een extra bed in de kamer, wat alleen maar in de weg staat als je maar met 2 personen bent. Er is ook weinig kastruimte.

"El hotel en general es muy bonito, y la piscina está muy Bien: Mis chamos no querían salir de la piscina, en especial por el pequeño "Parque" acuático que tienen en las instalaciones de la piscina. Las piscinas las mantienen muy Bien limpias, incluso fuimos testigos de la limpieza exhaustiva que realizaron a la piscina de niños. El personal de mantenimiento le damos un buen "pulgar arriba". Se nos daño la cerradura y la cambiaron Al mismo momento en el que lo reportamos, a pesar de que tenían "various casos de emergencia" que necesitaban atender. Muy bien por El líder de mantenimiento."

El desayuno fue un desastre. Cuando llegamos nos asignaron una muchacha para hacerle seguimiento a nuestra "experiencia" en El hotel y nos dijo: "El desayuno es a la Carta, así que no hay que preocuparse". La verdad es que solo habían 3 tipos de desayuno y eran sumamente estrictos (no se podía cambiar pan por arepa por ejemplo). La Carta decía "huevos Al gusto", sin embargo no había huevos hervidos. A la final nos lo prepararon (porque Les explicamos que eran para Los niños) no sin antes mostrar una cara de desacuerdo y "volteada de ojos" no muy agradable. Por otro lado, El hotel estaba casi full (hecho corroborado por Los mismos administradores / trabajadores del hotel), y la disponibilidad de mesas era escasa, en incluso se hacían colas, especialmente, cerca de la hora de cierre del restaurant (10a.m.). Como especialistas en Gerencia e Ingeniería de costos, entendemos claramente que el objetivo de servir "desayunos a la Carta", es tratar de bajar costos (no toman en consideración que bajar costos en la situación de ocupación en la que se encontraban significa incrementar estrés a su personal y al turista), sin embargo eso se puede hacer con El hotel a poca ocupación (quizas igual o menor Al 30-40%) no con el hotel a 80% de ocupación. La mejor manera de manejar la comida con dicha ocupación, es preparar desayunos tipo Buffett. Se lo hicimos saber a la Gerente encargada del restaurant, sin embargo la misma no recibió la sugerencia de buenas maneras.

"Alles was goed verzorgd. Restaurant en room service waren uitstekend."

"De plek waar het hotel ligt is prima. Guggenheim, staion, winkels, restaurants en tenslotte busstation intermodaal ook op loopafstand. Appt is heel ruim met aparte slaapkamer en prima badkamer."

De inrichting was erg zakelijk (wellicht wat gedateerd).

"The clean minimalist style and ensuite master bedroom with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The efficiency and kindness of Keith and Jason."

Oversimplified decor. Access to mobile showerhead restricted, watermarks above skirting board outside shower in the hallway.

"Very comfortable sleeping room, big kitchen and dining room area. Everything you need regarding cleaning, washing and household. Within 15 minutes of walking you can get directly to the city center and the harbour. The town park is within a 5 minute walk. Marna is a very friendly and humorous person as well. So everything was awesome!"

"Zeer goede service en bekwaam personeel. Altijd wel iemand die goed Engels spreekt. Erg schoon. Appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt (zelfs een wasmachine met droogfunctie). Ligging is erg prettig. Buiten het meest toeristische gedeelte, maar alles op loopafstand (grotere supermarkt, metro, mooi rustig park). Bed ligt lekker en is groot genoeg (veel andere plekken waren het veel te kleine bedden). 24/7 koffie, thee, warme melk, water en kleine snacks."

Het appartement is vrij donker.

"Zwembad was top! Appartement ruim, mooi en schoon. Vlakbij strand."

Appartement was aan straatzijde. Geen enorm drukke straat, maar toch nodige geluid in ochtend en avond. Kleinigheid: ik had ontbijt inbegrepen, maar hier zat koffie niet in.

"Alles netjes verzorgd, vriendelijke communicatie en goede informatie vooraf. Dichtbij parkeergarage, zee en strandpaviljoens."

"The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. Unfortunately the weather was not so good when we were there but there was a nice walkway down to the beach and a nice pool area and I would certainly come back and stay for longer in the summer when this hotel would really come into its own."

The staff member served us breakfast but as it was laid out as a buffet I think I'd rather have just helped ourselves. We were the only ones there so it felt a little strange having someone waiting around just in case we wanted an extra slice of break or cup of coffee.

Air con didn’t reach the bedroom and could hear the traffic at night.

Als ik iets moet bedenken is de douche. De douchewand is klein en laag waardoor alles nat wordt.

Lo único el precio pero bueno es aceptable.

"Great staff on reception - very friendly and helpful, especially since I was the only guest in the hotel during the low season. The room was at an excellent rate and was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff got me a kettle when I asked and I slept well."

Construction works are going on in the area and at the hotel in winter. Theh hamman, spa and bar and restaurant are all closed in winter too - all understandable and no huge deal and there's plenty in the area open all the time.
