Appartementen in Paraguay

"We stayed in the apartment A402, I believe their are a number of units rented in the complex. We had underground parking a few steps from the lift. The apartment is spacious with a great terrace with great views, including Mont Blanc in the distance. It was very well kitted out and very comfortable. I felt it was good value for the price we paid."

The beds and bed linen are ok (clean) but could do with an upgrade. The bathroom could also do with an upgrade, remove the bath and put in a shower, and upgrade the lighting, but that is just my opinion. The WiFi is a bit hit and miss, it is been connected through a Netgear Router from the apartment directly above.

"De locatie is echt top. Op een paar minuten lopen van het winkelstraatje van Neiafu en direct tussen drie leuke restaurantjes. Het uitzicht over de baai is heerlijk. Een hele fijne uitvalsbasis voor ons walvisavontuur. Fijn dat je zelf ook wat kon koken, al moet je wel creatief zijn met de ingrediënten uit de winkeltjes en van de markt."

Vantevoren weinig communicatie over hoe en waar in te checken, toevallig dat we eerder in de comments hadden gelezen dat dit bij Tropicana kon. Het hygiëne niveau van het appartement was medium, de keukenkastjes roken muf. Nog een tip: de restaurants zijn erg gezellig, maar echt dichtbij. Dit leidde op een aantal avonden tot geluidsoverlast later op de avond (~12 uur). Dus mocht je hier last van hebben, neem dan oordopjes mee.

De WiFi deed het twee dagen niet, maar dat was een algemene storing dus daar kon niemand wat aan doen

"The host is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. We encountered issues during the time travelling, and the host came right away to sort everything out perfectly. Super helpful. The room is perfect for friends to relax and unwind after days of intense underwater activities. They offer car rental, which is a better offer than other companies. We had a wonderful stay here and will choose here again in the future."

"Nice apartment, nice terrace overlooking the pool and with partial sea view. The ceiling fans were very good and enough to keep the apartmrent cool and we did not need the aircon. The owner had been very friendly and responsive. Just a few meters walk to a long stretch of beach with few people around. Free use of beach chairs and sunshades"

Air conditioning did not work in the living room but was not a problem because we did not need it. The only problem was after we checked out when we received a message from the owner saying that we had forced open a closet and damaged some beach towels. I have explained the owner how things really went and I believe that it was fiundamentally a misunderstanding and the problem was likely caused by the people in charge of the cleaning/maintenance of the apartment or some previous guests, since the owner lives in Europe. To be fair the owner did not ask us to pay anything it was just her complaining about us having done something that we did not do.

"Nice lively neighborghood, plenty of bars and food option nearby. The main sights are in a walking distance or a short drive by a taxi or bike. Nice staff. You can exchange euros at a good rate. View from the window"

Warm water via boyler, bad had lekkage, kraan in badkamer slecht, toilet spoelde slecht door en weinig kook materiaal.

Eigenlijk niets, voor uitgaan en boosschappen een kilometer lopen maar dat is te doen.

The adress was a little bit complicated because the entrance is in the inner part of the block.

Het geheel was wat gedateerd en er zat een en ander los. ( kraan, wc-pot)

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

The pillows are a bit soft ....

"We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!"

The fairly stiff walk back from the village is fine as long as you don't rush. The Castara Retreats Restaurant serves lovely fresh fish caught locally but wine as you might expect is eye wateringly expensive. Try Stag beer instead and even that is twice as expensive as in the village.

Люди які погано сплять беріть біруші бо знову ж вікна виходять на центр і оперний.

"They gave us everything we asked for. We needed a small workspace which they didn't have and they provided one in no time."

"De locatie is perfect. Mooi schoon appartement. Heerlijk aan het strand."

Het had fijn geweest als er badlakens voor het strand beschikbaar waren.

"De geweldige locatie. Heerlijk ruim appartement. En fijn dat er twee maal in de week nieuwe handdoeken waren. Tevens is het fijn dat er een wasmachine is. Je kunt ook prima naar het centrum lopen. Wij hebben genoten."

Helaas hadden wij net een appartement zonder overkapping waardoor er voor het appartement op het warmste van de dag geen schaduw was. Andere hadden dit wel. Er was wel een kleine parasol.

"Zeer ruim appartement met fijne veranda. Het appartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht op zee doordat het wat hoger op de heuvel ligt. Auto staat veilig geparkeerd op het terrein. Locatie is prima om het eiland te verkennen met de auto, weg van de drukte van Victoria. Genoeg restaurants in de buurt en een prima snorkelplek voor de deur op loopastand."

Geen airconditioning, maar wel een ventilator. Niet erg warm gelukkig.

De WIFI was een dag/avond niet beschikbaar.

Eigenlijk niets, voor uitgaan en boosschappen een kilometer lopen maar dat is te doen.

"Mooi hotel, grote kamer. Zwembad op het dak, fijn om af te koelen (niet super groot)."

"Personeel vond ik erg fijn. Maica heeft ons echt goed en leuk geholpen. We hadden een probleem met de deur openen, dat heeft ze zo leuk opgelost en fijn dat er voor onze koffer geregeld werd."

Als Maica er niet was en ik vroeg iets aan de telefoon dan merk je dat diegene nooit bij die appartement is geweest. Want die begrijpt dan niet wat ik bedoel.

A bit of coordination initially to get to the property due to the road, but the owner was wonderful at making it easy, and other taxis had no problem getting there after my initial attempt.
