"De ligging, eten was super goed alles iedere dag vers bereid. Vriendelijk personeel en niks was te gek, het appartement was super schoon."

"Slaapgedeelte met prima airconditioning, mooi en groot bad en douche gedeelte. Dagtochten, huurauto en rondvluchten zijn te boeken bij de accommodatie. Leo helpt je bij de keuze en houd je goed op de hoogte via whatsapp. Ontbijt wordt 's morgens bezorgt bij je accommodatie op een tijdstip dat het jou uitkomt. Verse koffie wordt tijdens het ontbijt gezet. In het appartement is 24/7 heet water te tappen."

Helaas ligt de accommodatie buiten het centrum van Koror, wel op loopafstand (20 minuten) maar via een drukke hoofdweg, waar maar weinig ruimte is voor wandelaars. In het donker is het geen ideale route. Het boeken van een huurauto tijdens je verblijf is zeker een must.

"El hotel en general es muy bonito, y la piscina está muy Bien: Mis chamos no querían salir de la piscina, en especial por el pequeño "Parque" acuático que tienen en las instalaciones de la piscina. Las piscinas las mantienen muy Bien limpias, incluso fuimos testigos de la limpieza exhaustiva que realizaron a la piscina de niños. El personal de mantenimiento le damos un buen "pulgar arriba". Se nos daño la cerradura y la cambiaron Al mismo momento en el que lo reportamos, a pesar de que tenían "various casos de emergencia" que necesitaban atender. Muy bien por El líder de mantenimiento."

El desayuno fue un desastre. Cuando llegamos nos asignaron una muchacha para hacerle seguimiento a nuestra "experiencia" en El hotel y nos dijo: "El desayuno es a la Carta, así que no hay que preocuparse". La verdad es que solo habían 3 tipos de desayuno y eran sumamente estrictos (no se podía cambiar pan por arepa por ejemplo). La Carta decía "huevos Al gusto", sin embargo no había huevos hervidos. A la final nos lo prepararon (porque Les explicamos que eran para Los niños) no sin antes mostrar una cara de desacuerdo y "volteada de ojos" no muy agradable. Por otro lado, El hotel estaba casi full (hecho corroborado por Los mismos administradores / trabajadores del hotel), y la disponibilidad de mesas era escasa, en incluso se hacían colas, especialmente, cerca de la hora de cierre del restaurant (10a.m.). Como especialistas en Gerencia e Ingeniería de costos, entendemos claramente que el objetivo de servir "desayunos a la Carta", es tratar de bajar costos (no toman en consideración que bajar costos en la situación de ocupación en la que se encontraban significa incrementar estrés a su personal y al turista), sin embargo eso se puede hacer con El hotel a poca ocupación (quizas igual o menor Al 30-40%) no con el hotel a 80% de ocupación. La mejor manera de manejar la comida con dicha ocupación, es preparar desayunos tipo Buffett. Se lo hicimos saber a la Gerente encargada del restaurant, sin embargo la misma no recibió la sugerencia de buenas maneras.

"The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. Unfortunately the weather was not so good when we were there but there was a nice walkway down to the beach and a nice pool area and I would certainly come back and stay for longer in the summer when this hotel would really come into its own."

The staff member served us breakfast but as it was laid out as a buffet I think I'd rather have just helped ourselves. We were the only ones there so it felt a little strange having someone waiting around just in case we wanted an extra slice of break or cup of coffee.

Het is allemaal wel wat verouderd, maar in principe wel schoon, wat belangrijker is. Dus prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed.

"The hotel is great. The rooms are huge, with two toilets, kitchen and everything else you need, even an iron and ironing board. They changed towels every few days."

Wellicht dat men het als een nadeel ziet. Appartement ligt op 20 min (met Luas) afstand van de stad. Was voor ons geen nadeel.

Het ontbijt was niet echt goed. Vrij basic. En croissants verpakt in een plastic zakje kan echt niet. Waren gewoon niet lekker. En leken ook niet op de echte croissants. Gelukkig zijn er prima alternatieven in de buurt van het hotel.

Taxi system in the country

"The safe, secured location is right on the beach. This place was clean. This place was close to all amenities."

The power went out while we were there during the day. The staff don't speak any English but they are quick to translate with their phones!

Oversimplified decor. Access to mobile showerhead restricted, watermarks above skirting board outside shower in the hallway.

"De locatie was heel rustig en toch goed gelegen om de stad te bezoeken. Restaurants in de nabijheid. Kraaknette kamer en badkamer. Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel."

Había leña y otros objetos en lso parqueos que lo hacían mas difícil de utilizar.

"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

"We arrived after 8.30 so there was no one at the desk. However, the instructions to enter were very clear, and we got to our room successfully. On entry, it was really cold and not enough blankets, so sleep was not good on the first night.We didn't know how to turn on the heating and the TV was not set up. There was no milk to make a beverage, so we had to try and find a shop for the simple supplies. We found a number to call on the following day, "which was Sunday," and a very helpful young man sorted out the problems. Overall, our stay was pleasant,and once the issues were sorted, and staff are very friendly and helpful."

Alleen misschien dat temperatuur lastig te regelen was. Soms wat warm in het appartement.

"Zeer goede service en bekwaam personeel. Altijd wel iemand die goed Engels spreekt. Erg schoon. Appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt (zelfs een wasmachine met droogfunctie). Ligging is erg prettig. Buiten het meest toeristische gedeelte, maar alles op loopafstand (grotere supermarkt, metro, mooi rustig park). Bed ligt lekker en is groot genoeg (veel andere plekken waren het veel te kleine bedden). 24/7 koffie, thee, warme melk, water en kleine snacks."
