"Weg van de hectiek en chaos van Marrakech: wat een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. Verwacht geen overdaad aan café's en restaurants, je komt hier voor de natuur en om een stukje van het leven van de lokale bevolking te ervaren. Het zijn details, want overall was het verblijf goed. De kamer waar we verbleven heeft hier en daar een touch-up nodig en de handdoeken waren volgens mij wat oud en hadden een wat aparte geur: wellicht zouden die vervangen kunnen worden. Tot slot is er niet echt informatie op papier over hikes/trails en dingen om te doen. Die vertelt het personeel je natuurlijk wel, maar het zou ook fijn zijn als je je een beetje kon inlezen in de omgeving in een informatiemap op de kamer. De snelheid van de wifi is matig maar tijdens piek-uren in de avond nog langzamer.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Het ontbijt was basic: brood met boter en (weliswaar uitstekende locale) confituren, koffie en vers appelsiensap. "Hele mooie locatie, de camping ligt mooi tussen de bergen. Leuke kleine bungalow die er verzorgd uitzag, er was wat bestek en servies aanwezig ook al was deze bungalow zonder keuken. Het was basic maar dat had ik verwacht. Super aardig personeel, de camping toilet /douche faciliteit was schoon en netjes. Er is ook een mooi zwembad op de camping heerlijk om een duik te maken na een wandeling, al met al we hebben het prima naar ons zin gehad"

De toilet was best ver van onze bungalow en s’nachts is het toch echt heel erg donker. Neem een zaklamp mee!!

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.

Thin walls. There were noises from other people in the corridor/bathrooms/doors. The room could use a little decoration for cozier feeling.

Het vinden van de ingang in het donker was de 1e keer wat zoeken, dit ondanks de aanwijzingen.

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

"Excellent location right on the ski slope and very friendly hosts. The accommodation is extremely clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is excellent. WiFi works well, and the property has a ski storage room. Fantastic value for money."

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

"Supervriendelijke en gastvrije hosts, die je echt een familiegevoel gaven. Mooie kamer, prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras en heerlijk eten. De guesthouse is hoogelegen en was voor ons niet makkelijk vindbaar. De mensen in het dorp waren zeer behulpzaam en regelden dat de hist ons tegemoet kwam. Ook toen we later het prachtige kasteel en leuke dorp bezocht hadden, te voet, kwam de eigenaar ons beneden ophalen, zodat we niet omhoog hoefden te lopen. Wat een service!"
