"Difficult to find the lodge because the location shown on Google Maps is incorrect, and the place is inside a living area without any signs from the main road. I had to get help from local people to find the place, and even they had problems explaining where it was, after talking to the host on phone."

"Een 20 minuten rijden met scooter naar Uturoroa. Gebruik haar keukrn en items. Diverse keren uitgenodigd mee te eten. Vriendelijke en vrolijke host. Goede locatie, nabij bakker. Zeer goed beetje stevig, zeker niet te stevig, matras. Ruime slaapkamer. Met ventilator, die muggen weghoudt. Veilige buurt. Heerlijke overkapte veranda, zodat je altijd droog bent ook als het regent."

"My host, and family, who provided lovely breakfasts, arranged & provided transportation from ferry & to airport. And for a fabulous trip out into the lagoon where I swam with Manta Rays! They also had a bicycle which I used every day to get around the island. Everything I needed was taken care of. They even sent me off with a garland of frangipani!"

"The location was fantastic, right on the water and canoes accessible. Gave us a genuine feel for the area watching the boats come and go on the water and the birds and the crabs and the dogs playing in the water. Kayaks make the lagoon accessible. The accomm is basic. One queen bed and mattresses on the floor. A great outdoor kitchen space. If you don’t mind basic then this is a great space. Close to Teahupoo and the cheapest we found in Tahiti."
