The concept is truly unique and unlike anything else — it allows you to connect with nature while enjoying luxury, comfort, and total privacy. We loved waking up to the stunning blue and red skies in the morning and spending the night under a dark sky filled with countless stars. The experience is perfectly designed to combine nature with a very high level of comfort and convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Skyscape to anyone visiting Twizel. "The Skysape is a more than exceptional place to stay. If you like to stay in an absolutely secluded location, this is the place for you. I was very lucky to be able to experience a breathtaking starry sky on two out of three nights. And the light rain on the third night only provided a different kind of feel-good atmosphere. A pleasure to hear absolutely nothing, except a few bird calls. The equipment is TOP and the view of the wide plain almost meditative. I loved my stay here very much."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

Het bed is heerlijk en de badkamer is compleet en heeft een lekkere douche. Bij aankomst stond er wat fruit voor ons klaar en de koelkast was gevuld. De ontvangst was hartelijk. Het uitzicht op Cook Beach was het eerste wat we in de ochtend van de omgeving zagen. Wat een magische plek!"
