Lodges op de Salomonseilanden

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"Mooie ligging aan de rivier, rust. Ruime bungalow. Gezellig restaurant annex zit- en hangruimte."

Sober westers getint ontbijt, niets Aziatisch. Povere verlichting in de bungalow.

"The host was super friendly and helpful! He helped us arrange room bookings further up the trek and even managed to get us direct flight tickets from Lukla to Kathmandu. Everything went really smoothly — would definitely recommend this place!"

"Location is wonderful, feeling very close to pure nature. We love the swimming, sauna, hanging matt, beach and the hike around."

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

"The room was comfortable, there was a microwave, electric heating and a kettle so we could make our own food. We needed batteries for the air condition (it was cold), they delivered very fast. Thanks!"

The stairs (we needed to carry our stuff)

"Fijne sfeer en zeer aardig personeel. Het ligt pal aan het strand en de binnentuin is schaduwrijk en knus. Het bed heeft een klamboe en de kamer wordt niet te warm. Er is ook airco maar die hebben we niet gebruikt. Er is ook veel te zien in het wijkje, dus we hebben ons zeer vermaakt."

The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"hele aardige host, Victor. Hij heeft mij opgewacht met zn auto toen ik verkleerd was gereden. En hij heeft in de avond voor mij hamburgers besteld en opgehaald. En in de ochtend deelde hij zn mate met me."

de cabana was dubbel geboekt, dus ik moest in het huis slapen. Maar was ook prima uiteindelijk. Het is goed opgelost. en de douche boven deed het niet, dus ik moest steeds trap op en af.

"De fantastische ligging/locatie. Prachtige architectuur. Op een avond een adembenemende roodkleuring van de zandsteen tegenover de lodge Oprecht goede cocktail (Margarita). Professionele staf en goede service"

Het was voor ons iets te groot, we vinden kleinschaligere locaties fijner, maar dat wisten we van te voren

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, maar de ligging is verweg van de stad. Daarnaast is Victoria Falls niet echt een leuke plek om te verblijven."
