"Heerlijke, tropische tuin met sfeervolle, ruime villa's en uitstekende catering en service. In de grote, overkapte loungeruimte wordt liefdevol ontbijt, lunch en diner geserveerd. Daar kun je ook relaxed werken of ontspannen. Voor mij voelde Eco Villas als een paradijs. Ligt 10 min met 'boda of tuktuk' van mooiste stranden vandaan (ten noorden of zuiden van 't centrum) of ga lekker te voet op ontdekkingstocht langs eindeloze reeks winkeltjes en stalletjes langs de weg richting Watamu Beach, waar 'Paradise' een hemels strandtentje is!"

In dit paradijsje neem je locale/regionale storingen in elektra-voorziening en wifi voor lief. (Er is een generator aanwezig voor langere storingen) Betalen gebeurt cash bij vertrek (of via M-pesa app)

"El lugar en si es bastante placentero, sin ruido de carros, rodeado de árboles y la cabaña es una belleza, muy limpia, amplia, cómoda, con absolutamente lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana bastante relajado. La persona que nos estuvo monitoreando por teléfono, muy amable y atenta, muy servicial en todo momento. RECOMENDADISIMO"

"Super place for the price. I had my own room with air con and a toilet and shower. It’s 800m about to the bus station and walking distance to most restaurants and stores in Savusavu. Practically next door to the historic Planters Club. Ron the owner is really kind and at the beginning drove me around to show me what I could do in Savusavu. I had a wonderful stay"

Sometimes it can get a bit noisy if the early morning ferry leaves for Suva a couple of times a week. I stayed in the front facing g the ocean. Maybe it was quieter at the back? But really there were no complaints

"Schitterende plek net ietsje buiten het drukke centrum, echter je loopt er binnen 8 minuten naartoe. Het huisje was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien! Je hebt een beetje het gevoel of je onderdeel uitmaakt van de lokale bewoners: de kindergeluiden en muziek op straat (tot ongeveer 22.00), het vele hondengeblaf en een kakofonie van haaiengekraai in de vroege ochtend. Hier moet je dus wel een beetje tegen kunnen. Er is niet echt een receptie, dus je moet het zelf een beetje uitzoeken, maar dat heeft ook wel weer zijn charme en voelt of het je eigen huisje is."

Het was voor ons iets te groot, we vinden kleinschaligere locaties fijner, maar dat wisten we van te voren

"Mooie ligging aan de rivier, rust. Ruime bungalow. Gezellig restaurant annex zit- en hangruimte."

Sober westers getint ontbijt, niets Aziatisch. Povere verlichting in de bungalow.

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"Als je met de trein reist is de ligging naast het station ideaal. Ook, als het goed weer is, is het uitzicht prachtig. Ruime kamer met blik naar twee zijden. Goed ontbijt"

"Fantastic location. Great facilities and will be even better shortly with new tents under construction. Excellent meals and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Take the food and day trip offerings- you won't regret it but stay at least 2 nights to really enjoy the location."

Let goed op de locatie als je geen auto hebt. Op sommige dagen zijn er geen eetgelegenheden op loopafstand.

"Het appartement was echt ruim en uiterst charmant en gezellig. De keuken was gerieflijk en goed ingericht. Er was een handige voorraad: koffie, olie, kruiden... De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam."

Wij wandelen graag maar we kwamen er al snel achter dat we beter de auto konden gebruiken om ons naar een goed vertrekpunt te begeven. De weg was vrij druk en er was geen plaats voor wandelaars.

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"
