"Superschoon! Heel aardig, behulpzaam personeel. Grote keuken met ruime koelkast. Erg leuk aangekleed. Per bed op slaapzaal eigen lampje, locker, leesplankje, gordijntje, kapstok. Zeer goed georganiseerd, met één nummer voor je schoenenkastje, je keukenkastje, je locker. Aparte badkamer met wc voor vrouwen, heel fijn! Van te voren goede informatie van eigenaar gekregen."

De matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe, 2 van de 3 waarop ik gelegen heb zakken door, zitten kuilen in. Een aparte vrouwenslaapzaal zou een goede aanvulling zijn (want helaas snurkten alle mannen op de mixed dorms).

Fridge in the kitchen was full of old products. Old furniture in the room.

Er is niets negatiefs te melden. Het is een eenvoudige accommodatie.

"It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.

"Schoon rustig hostal. Met gebruik van keuken en wasmachine. Airco. Contant gepast betalen. Kreeg naam voor een driver/gids: smooth operators, heel goed bevallen."

De ligging was verder uit het centrum dan ik ingeschat had. Openbaar vervoer is niet zo best.

"Een mooi historisch pand. In rustig zijstraatje van t plein. Gratis parkeren buiten de stadsmuren op slechts 8 minuten lopen."

Lack of privacy in shared bedroom but that was okay. I could live with that.

Ik ben te kort gebleven om hier wat over te zeggen.

"We konden onze grote 4x4 binnen de hekken parkeren. Het is een mooie locatie en we werden vriendelijke ontvangen. Onze kamer was precies zoals omschreven; ruim en twee aparte bedden met klamboe. De wc en douche zaten om de hoek en waren simpel maar schoon. Het zwembad is heerlijk, er is een keuken aanwezig met grote tafel en je kan heerlijk schaken met zelfgemaakte schaakstukken. We konden ook nog mooie craft souvenirs kopen. In de avond was de keuken gesloten maar de eigenaar heeft ons geholpen en pizza besteld. Aanrader!"

"Prima hotel voor een kort verblijf. Tram richting centrum stopt er vlakbij, maar het is ook prima te wandelen. personeel was vriendelijk."

"Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Hij is erg gastvrij en doet zijn best om met weinig middelen een fijn verblijf aan te bieden. De kritische opmerkingen zijn ook niet bedoeld als negatief, maar als eerlijke opmerking voor wat je kunt verwachten."

De badkamers waren schoon, maar de douchekop kon je nergens ophangen. Geen WiFi, net als in de rest van Oost-Timor, dus zorg voor een Timorese simkaart.

We kwamen 's avonds aan en hun restaurant dat ik kende van enkele jaren geleden bestond niet meer. Het motor verhuur is niet meer ter plaatse zoals voorheen maar is goed georganiseerd
