Hoewel het een eindje lopen is van de Haram, ligt het in een levendige wijk. Je vindt er veel betaalbare restaurants en winkels die een stuk voordeliger zijn dan vlak bij de moskee

"Het makkelijk in- en uitchecken, de fijne kamers en bedden, de schone douches en wc's en de locatie van het verblijf net buiten Vik. Een heerlijke plek om allerlei bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving te bezoeken."

Een van de weinige plekken waar ik geen latte met havermelk kon bestellen :-)

Het centrum is wat ver gelegen. Bus gaat een tot 2 keer per uur.

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Hartelijk ontvangst en vriendelijke eigenaars. De bedden zijn opgemaakt en er zijn handdoeken ter beschikking. Er is airco aanwezig wat in de zomer erg handig is. In de keuken wordt er gratis koffie en thee aangeboden. Er staat ook een frigo die kan gebruikt worden. Voor de mannen waren er 3 douches wat ideaal was."

De locatie is wat afgelegen.

"The owner was vey kind. He let us check in early as we took an overnight bus to Siwa. The room was very comfortable and we were able to use the facilities even after check out as we were waiting for our next overnight bus! Thank you for such kind hospitality!"

"This is a really great hostel. Perfectly located in the historic centre and yet close to restaurants and shops. A warm welcome and helpful staff throughout who all seem to enjoy their roles. They even provided a towel as well as fresh linen for the dormitory beds. Really nice design for the hostel - clean and bright."

"Spent some wonderful days here! Especially Yessin, the host is really nice and helpful! There’s a shared kitchen, a terrace, where you can meet other guests and also a living room. Beds are comfy. Would recommend it for backpackers, who want to explore Tatouine and the area around. Yessine can you provide recommendations for both and even organise a tour."

The tap at the kitchen is likking while open. Somw floor tales must be fixed. One of the light bulbs needs replacement.

"Personeel zeer vriendelijk. ontbijt gewoon goed. Als je motel uitstapte kon je meteen de BTS pakken. Ik moest de volgende dag weer vroeg het vliegtuig hebben, kreeg daarom een extra ontbijt gratis. Kortom geweldig verblijf."

"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

"Such a great experience! Came a bit worried by the reviews, but since Mama Fifì is back the house is very clean and well managed. Rooms are simple, but it was such a pleasure to share a house with a real local landlady and spend some times in a real Huahine household, with whom we shared dinners and good moments. We were just three guests in off season, experience may be different when the dorm is full. A bit isolated, renting moped advised, but they deliver there too, and walking distance to water access and incredible beach hikes."
