"The place was clean and light, though not too busy given the time of year (March). Most impressive was the host who was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering to help wherever she could. A wonderful addition to my stay in Xingping!"

Een badkamer is een beetje klein en wassen en drogen kost 10 euro.

"I stayed here after I had done a 12 day tour trough Mongolia. I just needed a room and shower for myself, since I didn’t have that for over a month (I was traveling elsewhere before the 12 day tour). I stayed 2 nights and the bed was super comfortable! The whole place is nice and clean and very close to a market where they sell everything for very cheap. It’s also an easy 20 minute walk from the central square. The lady was very nice and let me stay a bit longer on the day I had to check out, which was really helpful for me. Thanks again!"

"We stayed in the private apartment a few blocks from La Comarca Hostel. It has everything you need - comfy double bed, an en suite with large shower, and a well equipped little kitchen with a stove, toaster, kettle. The whole vibe was very stylish, modern and clean. All the staff were lovely!! I said it was my partners birthday before arrival and they had put up balloons and little treats for us! Although we didn’t stay in the main hostel, it had a warm vibe when we dropped by and we were allowed to leave our bikes down the side of the hostel for a few nights while hiking. Overall, highly recommend!"

"Wij zijn hier 1 nacht verbleven voorafgaand aan onze wintersport in Westendorf. Er was toen geen grote groep, enkele gezinnen. Dus dit was perfect, keurige kamer met ruime (stapel)bedden. (ik ben 1.95m, maar sliep er erg goed!). Badkamer en toilet op de kamer. Verder was het ontbijt in basis al goed. Maar kon je alles wat je extra wilde gewoon krijgen. Als je dat vroeg aan de dame in de keuken die er al 15 jaar werkt (dat zegt vaak ook iets 😊) En wat goed is om veel verspilling tegen te gaan. Wij hebben er in de avond niet meegegeten, maar dit was (op basis van een vast menu) ook mogelijk geweest. En achteraf hoorde we van verschillende kanten dat dit erg aan te raden was. De kinderen vonden (naast de wifi) de tafeltennistafel, en voetbalkooi op de hooizolder ook erg leuk. Ze zijn 11 en 14 jaar oud."

Niets bijzonders te melden hier. Prijs kwaliteit kwam zeer goed overeen met de verwachting n.a.v. de advertentie. Het is tenslotte een 'herberg', en geen hotel!

"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"Ik waardeer het erg dat het hotel mijn reservering wilde omboeking nadat ik mijn vlucht had gemist, ook al was het daartoe geenszins verplicht. Vriendelijk personeel en een goede locatie, een kort maar prettig verblijf!"

"Superschoon! Heel aardig, behulpzaam personeel. Grote keuken met ruime koelkast. Erg leuk aangekleed. Per bed op slaapzaal eigen lampje, locker, leesplankje, gordijntje, kapstok. Zeer goed georganiseerd, met één nummer voor je schoenenkastje, je keukenkastje, je locker. Aparte badkamer met wc voor vrouwen, heel fijn! Van te voren goede informatie van eigenaar gekregen."

De matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe, 2 van de 3 waarop ik gelegen heb zakken door, zitten kuilen in. Een aparte vrouwenslaapzaal zou een goede aanvulling zijn (want helaas snurkten alle mannen op de mixed dorms).
