Ik ben te kort gebleven om hier wat over te zeggen.

"Perfect location within a couple of minutes' walk from the main train station (and a big mall with a supermarket open until late), surprisingly quiet for being in the very centre of the city, exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Very satisfied, thank you so much!"

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.

We kwamen 's avonds aan en hun restaurant dat ik kende van enkele jaren geleden bestond niet meer. Het motor verhuur is niet meer ter plaatse zoals voorheen maar is goed georganiseerd

"Dit is een hostel welke alles in de puntjes heeft uitgewerkt. Zeer sociaal maar geen party hostel. Iets wat ik erg waardeerde. Prijs-kwaliteit dik in orde. Personeel begroet je altijd. Erg vriendelijk!"

Het enige minpunt is dat je weinig privacy hebt in de gedeelde slaapzaal (geen gordijntjes aanwezig).

"De locatie was een droom. Een onvergetelijke ervaring. De eigenaar, Sulejman, is zeer vriendelijk en is duidelijk trots op zijn accommodatie. Tip: zeg ja als hij voorstelt om de zonsondergang te bekijken!"

"Eerste keer een hostel. Was alleen op reis was erg eenzaam. Masr in de buitentuin leerde ik snel mensen kennen. Ook de vrouwen zaal was echt fijn. Ik vond het een hele fijne plek. Ben er 3 nachten geweest."

"We verbleven in een tweepersoonskamer met eigen badkamer. De kamer was schoon, netjes en comfortabel. We konden onze motorfietsen goed en veilig parkeren binnen het hek. Het was leuk andere reizigers te ontmoeten die ook in het hostel verbleven. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was erg goed!"

1. No elevator, 2. No mirror in the bed room, 3. No shower curtain in the bathroom, wooden floor make sounds while walking

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"The location sits on main public transit options; Bus stop, METRO station, and one street away a main connecting street offering additional public bus stops & connections. A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.

"Het hostel was schoon, onze kamer zat tegen over de douches en wc's. Dit was top geen last van gehad. Daarnaast ligt het hostel een beetje van het centrum af maar de metro verbinding is top. Wij kwamen na middernacht aan maar het was nog mogelijk om in te checken!!"

Onze kamer had geen raam waardoor het na het slapen muf en stonk. Het was moeilijk om de guur uit de kamer te krijgen. De enige oplossing was door de deur naar de gang open te zetten. Veder rest was het hostel uitermate uitstekend!!

"It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.

"Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Hij is erg gastvrij en doet zijn best om met weinig middelen een fijn verblijf aan te bieden. De kritische opmerkingen zijn ook niet bedoeld als negatief, maar als eerlijke opmerking voor wat je kunt verwachten."

De badkamers waren schoon, maar de douchekop kon je nergens ophangen. Geen WiFi, net als in de rest van Oost-Timor, dus zorg voor een Timorese simkaart.

"De jeugdherberg is mooi gelegen. Van daar kan je wandelingen maken en uitstappen met de bus, in Liechtenstein of over de grens. De tweepersoonskamer heeft een eigen badkamer, goede bedden, een gerieflijke kast, twee kleine tafeltjes als nachtkastjes, een grotere tafel en een ongemakkelijk zitje. Maar er zijn veel zitgelegenhden in het mooie ruime gebouw. Het eten is er goed."
