"Debbie was very nice and the place was clean. We received a warm welcome."

I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

Het was erg vreemd om zoveel persoonlijke spullen (knutselprojecten, kinderfoto's) op de kamer te zien, en de jacuzzi kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken (maar wat een luxe!)

Kamer was iets krap voor 2 personen.

"Huis is in een rustige omgeving en toch in de stad, prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed. Je krijgt een klein huis in Finse stijl voor de prijs van een hotelkamer en de eigenaresse is super vriendelijk. Wij mochten de laatste dag langer blijven omdat ze geen boekingen had."

Ik verbleef in twee verschillende kamers: de loft 2 voor eerste dag en drie dagen in the cottage. The loft prima accommodatie, en keurige inrichting. The cottage: verouderd en heeft opknap beurt nodig: badkamer, douche, vloer en muren outdated en versleten. Sloten om binnen te komen in slechte staat.

"Alles wat je nodig had was er. Het bed sliep comfortabel en het was schoon. De host was erg behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar. Bij binnenkomst vertelde Josienne je wat je het beste kon doen, wat de beste plekken waren en waar je het beste kon eten etc..als er iets was of je wilde iets weten kon je altijd een bericht sturen en ze reageerde vrijwel meteen. Dat was erg fijn. Ook de locatie lag erg gelegen."

Niets viel echt tegen. Het enige minpuntje was dat je iedere keer een flinke heuvel op moest als je terug naar het appartement wilde komen. Verder had ik een kamer zonder uitzicht en balkon. Persoonlijk vond ik dit niet zo erg omdat je niet veel op de kamer bent.

"Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. ondanks de drukte is alles goed gelopen. een mooie kamer en dicht bij het centrum. hele mooie omgeving en genoeg om te bezoeken in de buurt. lekker eten en vrij rustige omgeving."

Er was geen verlichting in de wc. wij hebben het verholpen met een zaklamp. het kan zijn dat wij het knopje niet konden vinden of dat er wel verlichting was maar dat heeft onze overnachting niet in de weg gezeten.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"Breakfast was very good. The beach was very clean. The room was smaller than what I thought it would be. The staff was very friendly and very helpful."

The air conditioning was quiet noisy. The bed was lumpy.

"Die Unterkunft war für einen Kurztrip mit 4 Personen perfekt. Alles sauber und sehr netter Gastgeber."

Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht komplett zentral und die Bettwäsche hat etwas komisch gerochen. Ansonsten war aber alles super!

"Zeer mooie locatie hoog op de heuvel met een prachtig uitzicht op de baai. Leuke inrichting. Erg comfortabel bed, ruime badkamer met een apart toilet. De kleine maar praktische keuken is voorzien van alle noodzakelijke tools waardoor je ook eens lekker zelf kan koken en kan genieten op het ruime leefterras. De leuke vogeltjes krijg je er gratis bij, echt fijn gezelschap bij je ontbijt. Hosts bijzonder attent . We hadden een late terugvlucht en mochten tot de middag blijven.Ook de hond Newton was af en toe fijn gezelschap op je terras :-) ."

Rond deze periode wordt er stevig carnaval gevierd in Guadeloupe. De muziek in het dorp beneden krijg je er rond deze periode ook zeker gratis bij. Maar dit is rond deze tijd zowat overal in Guadeloupe. Zelfs de Franse Gendarmerie moet er van mee genieten tot in de laten uurtjes.

"This property and the owners, are now our favorite in Martinique. We were welcomed after a long day of travel. The owners kindly left us fruit, coffee, juice and a baguette for breakfast with the local tasty guave jam. So thoughtful. The house provided good size rooms, very comfortable Caribbean chairs, nice large bed, and wonderful outdoor seating with lush greenery, meticulously cared for, outside. To sit and have coffee and watch hummingbirds and others, while we looked at many kinds of tropical flowers was a great experience daily. Everything we wanted and needed in the house was at our fingertips. So much Martinique charm! We highly recommend to anyone visiting Martinique. And a short drive to the beaches, Jardin Balata, and top things to see on the island."

"Super leuke eigenaar die met alles helpt, ondanks het lastige communiceren vanwege het niet zo goed Engels spreken kan je alles vragen en word alles voor je gedaan. Geweldige locatie."

Het bed is erg hard, je voelt de vering echter is de prijs er ook naar!

"She is one of the sweetest persons I ever met in Bhutan. The room was neat and clean and it was a very nice homestay. She took care of me and my friends so well. If you qre in Punakha, I would recommend to take her homestay rather than going to any hotel"

Nothing. She was superb. The stay was in a remote location. But if you have a car, it is still accessible

"Absolutely wonderful stay. The place was spotless, and everything was clearly very well cared for. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, yet the location was excellent and very convenient. The room layout was very practical and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable right away. The internet was extremely fast and reliable. The bathroom was a real highlight — a fantastic shower with both a rain shower and a movable shower head, and the water pressure was excellent. The host was friendly, attentive, and very responsive to any questions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place."

"It's not just "a hotel", it an immersive experience of Armenian hospitality in a beautiful, very neatly kept private home. You are a personal guest of a beautiful family, the breakfast is served every morning on a crispy white table linen. The place provides a lot of comfort and privacy. I really enjoyed my stay."

I simply didn't get why some taxi drivers do not enter the driveway, preferring to pick-up or drop 20 meters away, on a crossroad. The street is open both ways. But that's rather a question to the taxi services.

Der er ikke noget dårligt at sige om dette sted, det skulle da lige være at der er dårlig internet dækning.

"性價比非常高，在跨年連假每間飯店都誇張亂漲房價的時候，只有這間飯店提供合理的價格，真的很棒！ 房間跟陽台都非常大，隱密性也不錯，床雖然很軟但支撐性很高，睡得很好。 房間還有提供冷暖氣，風量很大也很強；浴室也很大，且水熱得速度很快，水壓也不錯，且淋浴間地板有止滑，很棒。 有很多停車位，附近也有很多好吃的餐廳，民宿外的草地區也讓人很放鬆。 沒有提供冰塊，但跟住宿方詢問就會提供，滿棒的，住宿還有提供飲水機甚至是電梯，很棒。 另外個人常常覺得住宿提供的肥皂太大塊，沒用完很浪費，此住宿提供的肥皂較小，比較環保，退房沒用完也不會心疼。"

櫃檯的右側有貼歡迎使用信用卡字樣，實際到現場卻無法刷卡只能付現，這點讓人不是很愉快。 C/I時間只到晚上九點，不確定九點過後是否還能入住，八點半左右就接到民宿方來電詢問是否要抵達了，讓人有壓力。 住宿本身非常安靜，但有遇到帶小孩的旅客小孩早上一直狂跑亂跳，也有遇到早上約七點開始使用鐵槌敲東西的聲音，雖然都被吵醒，但聲音都沒有持續很久。 另外個人覺得房內的沙發很硬。

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."
