"Het is een prachtig, ruim huis met een geweldig uitzicht. De zonsopgang is een magisch moment, zeker vanaf het dakterras bekeken. We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. De staff van het huis is buitengewoon vriendelijk geweest en de maaltijden van de kok waren geweldig. Mr. Mohamed heeft ons ontzettend goed geholpen bij het organiseren van uitstapjes en had heel goede ideeën voor het invullen van het programma. Ook zijn begeleiding was zeer prettig tijdens onze diverse uitstapjes wat een heel fijn en veilig gevoel gaf. We komen zeker terug!"

"It was so well equipped for our family. The small pool was great for my 3 year old. We had our own private entrance, patio and outdoor sitting area. It felt safe and provided a restful place for us to call home for 5 days. Many beaches nearby, one within walking distance."

There are tons of mosquitos and tiny ants. This was observed elsewhere on the island that we stayed too and is not particular of this property. Be prepared with your own insect repellent.

"We had a great family time in Holiday Raj. The hosts were very accommodating and accessible, made us feel really welcomed. Also, the sauna is top!"

Not a didn’t like but consider one restaurant ‘Tet Rouge’ open a short walk away. Hire car a must for getting about.

"Tiptop in orde en echt genoten! Super vriendelijk als je iets vraagt, ruim verblijf, goeie bedden, alles is aanwezig, proper, heel handig rekje beneden om je vuile wandelschoenen achter te laten, zalig met de palletkachel en handige locatie met winkels super dichtbij. Je moet wel trappen naar boven doen om in de living enzo te geraken. Voor ons was het heel aangenaam verblijven 🤗."

Would've been helpful to know about the hot tub maintenance guy popping in - they accidentally scared one of my friends.

"Clean, and a cleaner came each day, the roof terrace was amazing, lots of space. I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. I could have spent a lot longer here."

"De villa’s liggen letterlijk op het strand! Op loopafstand zijn een supermarkt en verschillende eettentjes. Het zwembad was een leuke bonus."

"De ligging is heel centraal, vlak bij het oude centrum. Er is een privé parkeerplaats voor de deur. De kamers waren superschoon. Het huis is mooi gerestaureerd, met robuust materiaal en gezellig ingericht met stevig meubilair. Heerlijke bedden! Volledig ingerichte keuken. Julia is een vriendelijke gastvrouw, die ons wegwijs heeft gemaakt in het huis. Er stond fruit en drinken voor ons klaar. We voelden ons welkom!"

Little troubles with water pressure and warm water but Khatira was helpful and ready to solve problems.

"Martin and Gabriela are the loveliest hosts you can find. A couple who retired from Bavaria to build their paradise here, they are warm, hospitable, helpful and friendly. And you’ll get to stay in a paradise indeed in your time there. Their breakfast are of home made jam, bread, preserved fruits. The eggs are all from free range chicken reared in their yards. And very good coffee too. You will get to know their lovely pet Rocky, a husky, and another smaller dog whose name I forgot. There’s also a cat Sisi. They will pick u up by car from your bus stop off . Depending on the circumstance they may even give you a tour of the local towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With free WiFi. All in all I couldn’t have found better place to stay and hosts! ☺️"

"Een ruime cabin op een prachtlocatie, met schitterend uitzicht over de vallei en op de vulkaan. Uitermate vriendelijk ontvangen en een zeer behulpzame gastheer. Er is AC op de slaapkamer. De BBQ hebben we met plezier gebruikt en daarvoor kregen we wat diesel om de kolen aan te krijgen. Het terrein wordt afgesloten met een automatisch hek, dat voelt veilig."

De hanen in de buurt maken je vroeg wakker, maar zo erg is dat nu ook weer niet.

Would have been great to have some mirrors upstairs. Otherwise, it was perfect!

"Perfect location. Very bright and spatious rooms, with well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds! Our kid enjoyed the bonus playroom! Very kind and responsive hosts."

Nothing really. However, it would be great if the property had a loundry machine, it gets tricky without one for longer stays with family. Internet connection would be great addition as well.

"Fabulous property, stylish, comfortable, warm and well-equipped, next to the beach. Great TV viewing options for when you want to just stay in and relax. Constant sea view and see the waves from your bed. Superb!"

Maybe a few plug adapters for lamps/lighting. That's about it.

"Leuke kleine bungalows vlak aan het strand. De bungalows hebben alles wat je nodig hebt. Mooi ingerichte omgeving van het zwembad. Heel vriendelijk ontvangen en alles duidelijk uitgelegd. Vlakbij het strand en een gezellige strandbar. Heel leuk om te snorkelen in de lagoon."

"Wij kwamen vroeger aan dan gepland en mochten - ondanks dat de host nog aan het schoonmaken was al naar binnen. We hebben fijn alle spullen kunnen wassen en het huis was groter, schoner en fijner dan verwacht. De locatie vlakbij de oceaan is ook erg mooi, een veilige buurt. Heerlijk gebraaid op de binnen braai, in de zomer zou dit ook buiten kunnen."

We waren er in de winter, het huis was eigenlijk te koud. We hebben 3 zakken hout gestookt op de openhaard om het behagelijk te krijgen (overige wel goed dat je dit voor een schappelijke prijs kon kopen ter plekke).

"This was a great house with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. We were a group of 9 which is probably the maximum this house can take, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for our shorter trip. Everything worked really well and the hotel this villa is connected to had great facilities like a sauna and hottib which were free to use. The host was great, the location for this villa is slightly incorrect on this site as it was a bit further out than we expected but the host was helpful in getting us transport everymoring to the ski centers."

"De ligging was perfect, pal in het stadje vlakbij alles en de uitbaters zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De accommodatie was prima uitgerust om zelf te koken. Er was een muskietennet om te beschermen tegen insecten, en dat was nodig. Op vraag om onze kleren te wassen, kregen we dezelfde dag nog onze kleren proper terug, dat was super snelle service."

Een algemene kritiek voor Tobago is loslopende honden. Ook dit verblijf heeft daar last van, wat maakt dat je niet rustig op het terras kan eten zonder lastiggevallen te worden door 'bedelaars'. Dat is natuurlijk iets waar de uitbaters weinig aan kunnen verhelpen.
