"Patrick en Lisbeth zijn 2 geweldige mensen. Ophaal.van vliegveld, direct even stoppen bij supermarkt om alvast wat spullen te kopen. De gastvrijheid die je direct voelt. Je kunt voor alle vragen bij ze terecht en ze helpen waar ze kunnen. Ook de accommodatie was super. Op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels en openbaar vervoer. Hierdoor hebben wij een super vakantie gehad op het prachtige Barbados 😊😊"

"This was a great house with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. We were a group of 9 which is probably the maximum this house can take, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for our shorter trip. Everything worked really well and the hotel this villa is connected to had great facilities like a sauna and hottib which were free to use. The host was great, the location for this villa is slightly incorrect on this site as it was a bit further out than we expected but the host was helpful in getting us transport everymoring to the ski centers."

"Martin and Gabriela are the loveliest hosts you can find. A couple who retired from Bavaria to build their paradise here, they are warm, hospitable, helpful and friendly. And you’ll get to stay in a paradise indeed in your time there. Their breakfast are of home made jam, bread, preserved fruits. The eggs are all from free range chicken reared in their yards. And very good coffee too. You will get to know their lovely pet Rocky, a husky, and another smaller dog whose name I forgot. There’s also a cat Sisi. They will pick u up by car from your bus stop off . Depending on the circumstance they may even give you a tour of the local towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With free WiFi. All in all I couldn’t have found better place to stay and hosts! ☺️"

Ze doet echt alles om je niet alleen onmiddellijk thuis te laten voelen maar ook dat je reis zo goed mogelijk verloopt. Tips alom! Alles met de glimlach en op een niet-opdringerige manier. De kamers bieden alle basis-comfort, zijn kraakproper en de bedden garandere een goede nachtrust (dit is soms anders in Nepal 😉). Vlakbij de hustle and bustle van het drukkere gedeelte van Lakeside maar met een tuin waar je heerlijk kan genieten. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en is op maat. Elke dag tovert Shaundra (sorry als ik het verkeerd zeg) iets heerlijks op je bord. Kortom, dit verblijf is een warm adresje gerund door mensen met een hart, een aanrader!"

"Wederom een heerlijk verblijf. We waren hier al eerder in de zomer. Nu midden in de winter een week lang bij ruim -40C. De accommodatie was heerlijk warm en comfortabel met een sauna en overal vloerverwarming. De auto kon opgewarmd worden naast de cottage. Goede bedden en een eigen wasmachine en droogkast. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug."

"The location is beautiful as there is a view on both the mountains and the sea. It is not walking distance to Jiufen which is a good thing because it's too busy there and I rather drive a few minutes for a visit and then back to some peace and quiet. The couple that owns and runs the hotel are very nice and helpful. We loved the traditional Chinese breakfast sitting outside the hotel looking at this amazing view"

"Beautiful property atop a hill, with nice views of the surroundings (including a view of the Queen's Palace). Very clean. Elegant decor. Comfortable beds. Access to private swimming pool (competition-length, which is great for serious swimmers), a pool-house equipped with grill, bar, tables, and games (ping pong and foosball), and a private playground for younger children. We ordered 1 meal that was excellent, served in-house by the hosts. The hosts live in a separate unit on the property and they were available whenever we had questions. One of the hosts used to be a competitive swimmer and she gave the children a swim lesson. A relaxing place if you want to get away from the bustle of downtown Tana."

Somewhat difficult to find if you're driving yourself, but that's no fault of the hosts and the isolation does make the property more peaceful. Besides, property access won't be a problem if you ask the hosts to organize transportation for you (either car or motorcycle). There was a water shortage due to a drought at the time of rental, but again that's no fault of the hosts. We just had to be careful about our water consumption and it all worked out just fine. Treat the hosts with respect and they will definitely return the favor (they surprised us with freshly baked bread on our last day!)

"Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und komfortabel, die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir zwei Bäder hatten und der schöne Garten, in dem man gemütlich frühstücken konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit dass für uns traditionelles Essen gekocht wird, was sehr lecker war, und unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. Wir bedanken uns sehr herzlich und freuen uns, nochmal wieder zu kommen :)"

"De ligging was perfect, pal in het stadje vlakbij alles en de uitbaters zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De accommodatie was prima uitgerust om zelf te koken. Er was een muskietennet om te beschermen tegen insecten, en dat was nodig. Op vraag om onze kleren te wassen, kregen we dezelfde dag nog onze kleren proper terug, dat was super snelle service."

Een algemene kritiek voor Tobago is loslopende honden. Ook dit verblijf heeft daar last van, wat maakt dat je niet rustig op het terras kan eten zonder lastiggevallen te worden door 'bedelaars'. Dat is natuurlijk iets waar de uitbaters weinig aan kunnen verhelpen.

"Marites and Belal are excellent hosts. They made me feel welcome and appreciated. The house is situated just off Broadway with easy access to the town center, sites, and shopping. On my next trip Tinian, I will definitely check with Tinian Island Haven for availability."

We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. De staff van het huis is buitengewoon vriendelijk geweest en de maaltijden van de kok waren geweldig. Mr. Mohamed heeft ons ontzettend goed geholpen bij het organiseren van uitstapjes en had heel goede ideeën voor het invullen van het programma. Ook zijn begeleiding was zeer prettig tijdens onze diverse uitstapjes wat een heel fijn en veilig gevoel gaf. We komen zeker terug!"

"De Treehouse ligt midden in een prive jungle,omringd door palmen en mooie planten. De slaapkamers zijn afgesloten, verder zijn het open ruimte’s, met heerlijke hangmatten. We hadden geluk de 1 e ochtend, 2 groepen apen diein de bomen van het treehouse zaten, wat een gebulder en kakofonie van geluid, erg indrukwekkend.. Wij waren er 3 nachten, zeker doen!"
