"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.

"De locatie was op zich goed, dichtbij een parkeergarage die zeker wel nodig was. Er was een redelijk ontbijt aanwezig. Het uitzicht was op de bergen met daarop nog de nodige sneeuw waar ook nog volop gebruik van werd gemaakt door de skiërs"

Het was in de ochtend druk met de auto's van het woon werk verkeer. Omdat er vooral bergen zijn, zijn er een beperkt aantal doorgaande wegen waar al het verkeer overheen moet met als gevolg filevorming

"Het huis was groter dan we dachten. Bed lag heerlijk. Eten was met liefde bereid. Gastheer was super vriendelijk. Locale bar was ook een verassing om mee te maken. Moest even wennen aan de locale douche en de wc, maar uiteindelijk prima. En wij hadden een fijne auto om door de locale straatjes, offroad naar Hotel te rijden"

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"De locatie was zeer moeilijk te bereiken wegens grote infrastructuur werkzaamheden. Ik heb toen de eigenaar gebeld (omstreeks 23.30) en hij is me komen ophalen. Aangekomen in het hotel vroeg hij me of ik nog iets wou eten. Hij is dan nog beginnen koken voor mij."

La cama es un poco incomoda y la habitación bastante calurosa para el verano pero hay un ventilador.

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

De chauffeur die ons van het vliegveld haalde had niet het goede bord met namen bij zich, dus veel verwarring. Fout van het hotel?

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"
