"Heel behulpzaam personeel. Auto gratis en direct naast de deur parkeren. Hoewel het hotel een beetje gedateerd is maakt de prijs een de lokatie alles goed. En heel belangrijk: De bedden sliepen gewoon echt goed! Het ontbijt in het ernaast gelegen hotel is ook echt heerlijk! En vanaf het hotel loop je zo het centrum in of de boulevard op. En dichtbij heerlijke eetgelegenheden. Wij gebruikte het verblijf als uitvalsbasis voor troops in Galilea en de Golan. We zouden het zo weer doen."

De airco lekte af en toe wat water

"Locatie was perfect om Reykjavik te bezoeken. Op 200 meter heb je bushalte Klambratun waar je met buslijn 3(BSI busterminal) of 6 direct in het centrum bent. Lijn 55 brengt je naar de luchthaven. De citycard geeft je trouwens toegang tot gratis openbaar vervoer. Indien je dit niet wenst, wandel je ongeveer 15 minuten tot het centrum. De eigenaars van het guesthouse waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. Voor ons is die hele poespas 's morgens niet nodig."

Het viel niet echt tegen maar het was een beetje jammer dat je gedurende de dag de koffiemachine niet kan gebruiken. Na een lange wandeling of een uitstap kan een tas koffie deugd doen.

The location was a but challenging, nothing to eat close by or to have a walk, but the owner was driving us everywhere, they were so nice

Beetje verouderd, maar alles werkte en was prima in orde.

De stroom werd overdag soms uit gezet waardoor er geen warm water was en telefoons niet opgeladen konden worden

"De kamer is zeer schoon en het hotel ligt heel centraal in het oude centrum van zurich. Op verzoek waterkoker gekregen, heel fijn."

Er zit een tussendeur tussen twee kamers (in ieder geval in de mijne) om er familiekamers van te kunnen maken. Door deze deur hoor je echt alles van de buren. Misschien zou deze beter geïsoleerd kunnen worden. Verder is het zo schoon dat elke dag je bed afgehaald wordt en je zelf je bed opnieuw moet opmaken. Na een lange drukke dag vond ik dat niet de leukste activiteit. Het is jammer dat er geen minibar is, zeker omdat het een dependance is.

"Vriendelijk ontvangen, mevrouw spreekt goed duits en geeft tips over het stadje. Hele dag door gratis koffie en thee, fijn om plekken te hebben om even te gaan zitten. Je kunt uit een koelkast drinken kopen. Goed ontbijt. Fijne ligging, je loopt zo het centrum binnen."

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. Lenka with family."

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

Gostaria de poder ficar mais dias . Tem muitas atividades de esportes no lago . E poder ficar tempo no ambiente. Quase igual estar em casa.

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

"Lovely jamaican couple running a little Guest House just 5 min away from the beach. The highlight of the stay was the pool and the served food for dinner. I highly recommend eating at the Guest House! The rooms were spacious and nicely temperature thanks to the well working AC. If you looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay close to kokrobite, don't miss out on that one!"

"Central location in Garapan, clean and comfortable room"

Bathroom was a bit drafty, can be a bit cold when you shower. Tap water is slightly salty

"Mooie huisjes met hartelijke vriendelijke eigenaren. Omgeving was prachtig. Heerlijke honing gekocht. Eten was ook heerlijk. Aardappelsoep als voorgerecht, lekker stukje wild met groente en aarappels. En ijs met lekkere aardbeien."

Alles was goed.

"Prima lokatie, naast het paleis en de avondmarkt. Maar toch heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn schoon en erg groot. En het gebouw is een mooi, historisch pand. Het personeel is erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam. We moesten al vroeg weg naar het vliegveld en toch hebben ze in alle vroegte nog een ontbijt voor ons klaargemaakt. Dat ontbijt is overigens prima, met vers sap / smoothie, ei en fruit."

Er hangt een TV maar zoals zo vaak is de ontvangst slecht. Maar ja, wie heeft op vakantie een TV nodig 😉

"Since I read the book who the owner Dorota wrote, I really wanted to visit Vanilla House. And it was as I imagined, even better!!! The sound of the ocean at night...The breeze.. The food... The view... I loved it!!!!"

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Zooo dichtbij de zee!!! Je slaapt eigenlijk op het strand. We hadden een suite met uitzicht op zee. Daar zijn er vier van: de twee op de hoek hebben naast een groot tweepersoonsbed ook een derde (eenpersoons)bed. Voor ons ideaal, want we reisden met twee volwassenen en een kind. De afstand van je bed tot de zee is 10meter. Geweldig. Prima service. Bij ons was een kleine lekkage: direct deskundig verholpen. Heerlijk ontbijt in het restaurant dat ook op het strand zit."
