"De deur was ontsloten, het was comfortabel warm bij het binnenkomen. Eigenares heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goede bedden. Aanrader!"

"Misschien extra plaats voorzien om koffiemachine en waterkoker op te zetten. In de aankondiging noteren dat het huis direct aan de rechter kant is bij het binnenrijden van de straat. Foto toevoegen van de buitenkant van het huis. Was heel donker en regende. Weinig zichtbaarheid en daardoor de straat te ver ingereden."

"Net buiten het dorp gelegen. Rustig. Gescheiden slaapruimte met prima bed. Mogelijkheid op buiten op terras te zitten. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Bakkerij op een paar honderd meter."

"Great little place but with everything you need, I would use it for a longer stay rather than use a hotel. It was snowing when I arrived so it was great to have the place warmed up on arrival It was only an hour or so from Calais Le Cosy is an excellent name for this hideaway I liked the fairy lights in the bedroom, not always liked but here there were some nice style touches"

"I was told there would be a lock box code for a key and it would be sent on the day I arrived. However, I had a problem with internet services on my phone and asked for it one day before or a text message on the day. I go neither. I had to ring up and in French try to communicate about the key - this is not easy when you are tired and it is the first day in Frnace, to speak French? The owner was not in attendance but in reality lives upstairs, with noisy children and a dog. Clearly she sis not want the bother of meeting guests? I had to leave early to get the ferry in Calais and found the driveway blocked by two cars. So at 6:30 to 7am I am ringing the doorbell to ask to leave. She was appreciative of the problem but worried I was leaving bacause I was not happy. I explained about the ferry.... As I did not think the owner was avaialable I could ot ask for a demonstration of how the cooker works. Whatever I tried, it would not do anything. I realised the cooker had a film of something on the surfaqce and when trying to clean it (without success) the cooker locked up! I have used many cookers like this and have a new one in my new home that I used without problem. I wqaws able to look up the instruction manuals on the internet but in French and English version the explanations were rubbish ( I used to write technical methods and know the piutfalls of this - it is not easy) In the end I used the gas cooker in my campervan. The instructions for the house are printed out in the lounge but written in complicated French and difficult for me to understand with my conversationsal French. As there must be many international visitors it would not be difficvult to have a translation - for the benefit of client and host?"

"It was cosy, clean, comfortable, and a great location for an overnight stop on a longer drive south. If we were exploring the area it would be a good base and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. Host was responsive and helpful."

"After an awful day on my motorcycle, I arrived late and was treated to a warm welcome and one of the nicest places that I have stayed in France. The apartment had everything from a well equipped kitchen, to comfy bed and super hot bath. Immaculately clean throughout.. I wish I could have stayed longer.. thank you."

"Very nice cosy place. Parking right next to the entrance. I liked the small terrace in front of the entrance. For me the location was very good. There was a fridge too."

"The bed was a bit small, ok for a young couple, but if you look for something supercomfortable, this won't be it. Also, the fridge was a bit noisy during the night. Otherwise, all was good."
