"Wat een vriendelijke host! Hij haalt je op bij het vliegtuig en zet je aan het einde van het verblijf ook weer af bij de haven. Spreekt minimaal Engels, maar probeert alsnog leuke gesprekjes te voeren onderweg in de auto. De locatie is buiten het centrum, maar prima met wandeling van 25 minuten te doen (ook veilig ‘‘s avonds over een verlicht fietspad!). Kamers zijn ruim en erg schoon! De host geeft je echt een welkom gevoel op San Cristobal!"

"De kamer is ruim, schoon en licht. Goed bed, goede douche."

"Het ligt 45 minuten lopen van het dorp. Je pakt dus bijna altijd een taxi ($2 naar het dorp). Wat mij betreft geen echt probleem, maar als je om 6 uur op pad gaat voor een activiteit, moet je dit wel van tevoren regelen."

"De rust, ruime kamers, gratis water, lekker ontbijtje voor goede prijs, supervriendelijke eigenaar die je overal voor 2 dollar naar toe brengt, halen en brengen van vliegveld is gratis en heerlijke hangmatten om te chillen!"

"Eigenlijk vonden we de afstand naar het centrum toch net iets te ver, je moet steeds een taxi nemen om bij de accommodatie weg te gaan. Scheelt wel dat dat maar 2 dollar per rit is en korte afstanden :)"

"Alfredo and his wife are great hosts. He picked us up at the ferry and took us to the airport for free. He was friendly; giving us fruit and then eggs when we were talking about the chickens. His wife cleaned our room every day and even changed the sheets and towels in a 5 night stay. The air con was good. The WiFi was strong to start with but it seemed to time out and get a little weak. But WiFi was good in the kitchen. We used the outdoor kitchen every day and although we cleaned up, she would change cloths and tea towels. Good water dispensers in the kitchen and outside the room. Very comfortable and clean. Effective mosquito guards on windows and doors. We walked into town and to the beach but got $2 taxis back. We highly recommend if you like walking or don’t mind the taxi costs."

"I really loved this place! The owner is very nice - he picks you up and drops you off on your arrival/departure for free. The place is very clean and you can just eat the fruits from the garden. I like to walk so it was nice that the accomodation wasnt in town. If you don’t like walking a ride is 2 Dollar."

"Lush green garden with fruits and hammocks to relax. Spacey open kitchen. Very clean room with good AC and comfortable bed. Cool drinking water 24/7. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Possibility to rent snorkeling gear. Free pick up at the harbor and pur hosts drove us frequently to the center and picked us up again for a very fair price."

"Alfredo and his family were lovely and the hostel was immaculately clean. Lovely garden with fruit (which I could eat), water supplied, snorkel rental and recommendations for the tours/ferries. A nice relaxing place to stay."

"I knew this before I arrived; it's a little bit outside of town. I walked back twice and took a taxi twice. Alfredo and his son picked me up from the airport and dropped me into the centre on numerous occasions. Not a deal breaker."
