"We hadden een heel fijn verblijf in 1 van de 3 en ruim 1-kamerhuisjes, met mooi hoog balkenplafond, keukentje, een mooie badkamer, groot goed bed en een terras met goede tafel en stoelen. Deze bevinden zich in een prachtige tropische tuin, allen met genoeg privacy. De Italiaanse eigenaren waren in de achtergrond aanwezig, dus fijn, en waren wel altijd beschikbaar om dingen direct op te lossen. Er was een mooi ruim zwembad waar omheen meerdere gezellig zithoeken en een BBQ. Er is een kast vol boeken, thee en koffie. Waterdispenser in het huisje en prima keukenhoek. Zelfs een prims gasoven en een magnetron. Omdat er grote supermarkt in de buurt was,, konden we makkelijk wat eten inslaan en zelf ontbijt maken. Leuk om mango's uit eigen tuin te plukken! De lokatie is in het centrum van Las Terrenas, in een rustige veilig villa wijkje (met security) en minder dan 10 min lopen naar het strand en restaurantjes. We bevelen Casa Barbara van harte aan!"

"Er lagen soms hondendrollen in de tuin; deze werden weliswaar dagelijks opgeruimd, maar we hadden liever geen enkele drol gezien. Een waterkoker zou handig zijn."

"We’ve been coming to Las Terrenas for 20 years and have experienced quite a few accommodations. This year was our first stay at "Casa Barbara". The property is away from the noise and, with only three bungalows, it's peaceful and clearly arranged. Drinking water is automatically refilled by the host and not charged. Electricity, internet, and hot water are stable. Even though the beach is only a 5-minute walk away, the pool is a great alternative on cloudy days. There are plenty of shaded lounging and seating areas, and coffee and cold water are also available by the pool. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The kitchen is very well equipped by Dominican hotel standards—we didn’t miss a thing during our two-week stay. After this experience, Casa Barbara will be the only place we stay."

"We loved our stay and especially the doggitos that greeted us. This place has a great location and really good ammenities! The only thing that I wish was a bit different was the metallic smell in the bathroom which i assume came from the water pipes. Else this was superb!"

"Loved this place. Little bungalow, with own entrance, equipped to European standards, with air con, cooking facilities, hot water etc. Private and quiet. Short(ish) walk to beach, restaurants and shops. Unusual pool set in lovely garden."

"The place is absolutely beautiful! The garden is like a jungle and the pool is super nice. I loved waking up early and going for a swim and watching the birds in the garden. The owners are very nice and helpful, and their dogs are so cute. They have delicious coffee they offer for free and really thought of everything, even netflix on the TV in the bungalow. We loved it, highly recommend!"
