"Dit staat helemaal los van dit hotel, maar ik wil toeristen waarschuwen voor de zogenaamde "gids" Claudio die in São Filipe rondloopt. Hij vraagt veel te hoge prijzen en maakt niet waar wat hij belooft. Doe zeker niet de vulkaan hike met hem, hij is onverantwoordelijk. In Chã das Caldeiras zelf zijn genoeg goede en professionele gidsen te vinden."

"Super friendly host who drove us to Chã das Caldeiras and picked us up again there. Included lots of information about life with the volcano, photo stops, and a particularly charming return trip. The hotel is super clean but showing its age. 20 minutes' walk to the airport. Breakfast simple but okay and appropriate for the price. Good communication via WhatsApp. Our room was ready early."

"I was collected at the port, brought to the hotel, and given a warm welcome. Breakfast was great, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel owner invited me, as a solo traveller, to join him and his wife, her sister and brother-in-law, and a family friend on a day out that included a walk to Faja d'Agua and lunch with them. I was very touched by such a kind gesture it made for an exceptional stay on Brava island. I appreciated this so much."
