"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

Guests not respecting the quiet hours

"De omgeving en de host was top. Je moet er wel van houden om even offline te zijn en te genieten van de omgeving en de rust."

Heel veel was er fijn en goed. We miste alleen een waterkoker.

"Super leuk om op een farm te slapen, en daar leuk t kunnen rondlopen. Huizen zijn super goed equipped terwijl je ook mooi prive zit."

De lakens zijn nogal ruw, en verduisterende gordijnen zouden een fijne toevoeging zijn in de zomermaanden.

"The wood house is nice and it also has a private garden with a table. All the location is independent from the main house and it is in the center of the village."

It is not easy to communicate with the owners, English is a bit of a problem... The kitchen space is quite limitated.

"Wat een fijne accommodatie! Vooraf prettig contact met eigenaresse Louise. Huisje was lekker warm toen we binnenkwamen en het rook er heerlijk! Het is lekker ruim en alles is aanwezig. Echt een dikke aanrader!"
