Chalets in Kazachstan

"Great house, in good location. Breakfast delivery service is clever and helpful as it's all nicely packed you can take it with you to eat later if you're like us and like to be on slopes early."

Road to the house is absolutely ridiculous! It should not be allowed to host anyone in houses or hotels with road like this. There are building works happening too,with new houses coming up yet the road is AWFUL! For that specific reason 8/10 not 10/10. Also Garden is not secure so letting dog out is not simple.

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

1. Не работал телевизор ( обещали заменить у след постояльцам) 2. Пляж не пригоден для купания. Практически всегда отлив. 3. Для проживания в вилле нужно авто.

"Heerlijke leuke cottages met alle faciliteiten. Lekker bed en heerlijke douche. Goede service voor bezoek aan chobe. Restaurants en supermarkt om de hoek."

Let op bavianen. Ze stalen bij ons de peper van tafel.

"De ligging was goed, je keek over het strand naar de zee. 1x per week werden de bedden verschoond en schone handdoeken daar kon je naar vragen. De keuken was goed ingericht"

We zaten er 3 weken, er is niks schoongemaakt tijdens ons verblijf.

"The apartment is cute with decent furnishing and adequate cutlery and utensils. The host facilitated fast and efficient check in and departure."

More attention is required to improve cleanliness

Iets meer glaswerk en bestek

"De kamer was erg schoon en was van alles voorzien. De gastvrouw was ook heel erg aardig en liet ons thuis voelen."

"Het is een fantastische plek om midden in de natuur, buiten de bewoning, alleen te mogen overnachten. In de avond vliegen de vleermuizen in vele soorten langs je balkon. In de ochtend wordt je wakker door een oorverdovend vogel concert, die je allemaal van dichtbi kunt bewonderenj. Je bent super dichtbij het national parc. Ook de hulp met kok en gids was prima voorzien. Bed is goed (ben zelf ca 2 meter)."

De voorzieningen zijn nog niet helemaal op niveau. Water en licht kan uitvallen, maar dat is op wel meer locaties. De eigenaar was blij met onze feedback en heeft aangegeven een aantal (kleine) reparaties binnenkort door te voeren.

"Prima hotel. Ik had het geboekt omdat ze paardrijlessen aanbieden, maar dat viel tegen. De kamers zijn mooi en de ligging van het hotel en het restaurant zijn schitterend. Het personeel is onervaren vooral aan de frontdesk. Het eten is heerlijk! Mooie wandelingen in de omgeving."

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

"First of all hosts are just amazing people! Location was great, away from crowd with amazing grass fields where our dogs could run all day long. I mean it was generally great experience but one again, HOSTS ARE AMAZING! :)"

Well weather wasn't in our favor those days, but even that didn't ruin our holiday. We stayed inside , next to fireplace, watching rain/snow outside :)

How close the cabins are to each other… Had a big family next to us that was loud out on their deck.

"Gezellig en comfortabel huis met leuke kleine tuin en terras. Volledige privacy en parkeerplek voor de deur. Rustig gelegen en op loopafstand van een mooie baai van het meer. Heel schoon en verzorgd. De vloerverwarming in de badkamer was erg aangenaam. Zeer hartelijke gastvrouw en gastheer."

Iets minder handig dat je via de badkamer/toilet naar de tweede slaapkamer moet.

"La cabane est de très bonne qualité, spacieuse avec un pont qui donne sur une petite terrasse. Un salon est également à disposition sous la cabane avec un bbq. La cabane est très bien agencée avec ce qu’il faut, notamment un grand frigo, de la vaisselle et de quoi faire la cuisine. L’endroit est très bien situé au calme entre Bouillante et Deshaies. A 50m de la maison cacao et duke plage de galet. Les plages de sable sont entre 7 et 15mn en voiture. L’endroit parfait pour se dépayser. Liliane est une personne formidable qui conseille volontiers et est à dispositions en cas de besoin. Nous avons adorés ce séjour."

"Lovely atmosphere and had all the facilities we needed. It was dark when we arrived making it a bit difficult to find however we managed to contact the manager and were guided to the property. There was no restaurant or cafe within walking distance but the young man who welcomed us went out of his way to go and get dinner and bring it back for us. A peaceful and comfortable stay. I would recommend this place."

There was no signpost on the main road to give directions. Not so bad during the day but necessary at night.

"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC
