Old barn turned into magical place- full of character.

"The road to Carbunari is not the best one, but can be approached with any type of car. The accommodation is setup in a very nice setting, the wooden cabins are close to the forest and the whole place is at the end of the road. No neighbours, no noise, only nature! The owners are awesome people, and they are doing their best to make their guests feel like home. We rarely say this, but we’d be very happy to see them again!"

The road from Oravita is pretty bad, but the one from Bozovici is decent, even tho unpaved.

"It is very good value for money. Accomodation is basic, but it is clean and comfortable enough. Our balcony was looking to the sea. The place was quiet after 21.00, we could rest very well. Breakfast very delicious and healthy."

My room had a little ant problem as well as if you actually want a reply from the place you need to call the number that's stuck to the window of the Information building. I messaged multiple times through Booking but never had a reply until I called.

- aanvankelijk voor ons wat onwennig, het kan bij aankomst wat sjofel overkomen, het oogt een beetje rommelig of vervallen (had iets weg van een studentenhuis) maar als je je weg gevonden hebt valt het best mee - sommige materialen in de gemeenschappelijke delen waren wel echt afgeleefd

"Es war genau die kleine Auszeit, die ich gebraucht habe. Der Wagen war gemütlich, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Besonders schön war die ruhige Atmosphäre auf dem Platz. Ich habe die Stille und das Meeresrauschen sehr genossen, konnte endlich einmal richtig ausschlafen und bei langen Spaziergängen über die Insel abschalten. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, zu grillen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, war jedes Mal ein Highlight. Vielen Dank auch für deine freundliche Art und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation – das hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ich komme sehr gern wieder und empfehle den „Lieblingsplatz“ mit bestem Gewissen weiter."

Das einzige kleine Manko war die etwas dünne Matratze im Bauwagrn.

"The decoration outside."

First of all please do not rely on the reviews here. The most one I think are fake reviews. This is now the real situation at this so called Nature "hotel". Flies flies flies. Everywhere thousand of flies. Flies in the rooms, flies in the restaurant everywhere you will have the flies. This is an indicator about the bad hygiene in this hotel. I have booked to so called King Room with Mountain view. It sounds very friendly but the reality is totally a horror. The room is very dirty and most issue it is wet and everywhere you see mold. When you enter the room you smell the moldy air. Absolutely unhealthy enviroment. Even the bedding is moldy and wet. The floor is wet. The walls are wet. We have to use hair dryer to have a little bit dry feeling when we sleep. But we could not sleep very well. Very terrible situation. Beside the moldy enviroment the room cleanless is terrible. Everywhere died flies and their feces. Stains on bedding and hairs. The bathroom was so dirty that we have avoided to take a shower. The toilet was not cleaned. The breakfast was consist of only rice and noodle and some unfresh cakes. On the food there are a lot of flies. They have a menu but most ones are not available. So we ate some noodle but was very low quality. Now my frustration. I have paid 1.4mRP for one night. In Indonesia you can stay in a very good 4 star Hotel for this price. I have requested a refund but the owner/staff was very unfriendly and not collaborative. For 200kRP you can stay in Bromo/Tosari in every homestay which is more better than this kind. So dont rely on the pics and reviews. The guys are cheating in a high level. Please be really careful to book this hotel. I have already claimed to booking.com. Helaas wel het geluid van de weg als je dichtbij de weg je tent neerzet (beter dus je tentje verderweg zetten) De gedeelde ruimtes waren beetje verouderd. Beetje duur voor een nacht met een tent+auto.

We got the tent next to washroom, we were hearing the motor sound always even when sleeping.

"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰"

"We had a great stay at Moonys! Fernando is an amazing host who made everything possible. He even picked us up or organized transport when we needed it. We immediatly felt more like family than guests. The chalet is a beautiful place: clean and neat, and in the middle of nowhere. It is very quiet and a perfect place to relax."

There's nothing we didnt like. However you should consider transport: if you dont come with your own car, you depend on Fernando and you need to count in money, time and organization for commuting to wherever you wanna go. Taxis might not go all the way up to the chalet because its a dirt road. There's no supermarkets or restaurants close enough to walk to.

Isuru is een super lieve en goede host. Doet werkelijk alles voor je om het verblijf goed te maken. We hebben genoten van de heerlijke Sri Lankaanse lunches en diner, gemaakt door de moeder van Isuru. Echt geweldig lekker. Vanochtend zijn we op Safari geweest in Udawalawe park, geregeld door Isuru. We kregen een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijtje mee voor onderweg! Isuru heeft nu 1 cottage, maar zou graag willen uitbreiden. Als je een verblijf zoekt in de buurt van Udawalawe, dan beveel ik Milkhouse cottage ten zeerste aan!!!"

"This has been an interesting and a great experience, quite different from the other stays here in Samui. The location is nice, the beach is just outside the caravan (the sea is not really swimmable in the low tide though). The food they offer in the menu was quite delicious. The atmosphere is good too, and in the evening the whole place really transforms, with all the lights, the music and the screen with a projector."

It's a bit smelly inside, probably due to humidity. The external block of the aircon is mounted on the caravan, transmitting the vibration to the whole construction while working.

"Très simple, très naturel,avec beaucoup de bon coeur l'accueil de ce Lodge qui appartient à une école.Le directeur de l'école m'a servi généreusement de taxi plusieurs fois pour me rendre à Levingstone,au Chutes Victoria et j'ai fait un safari avec lui dans son 4×4 pour un prix avantageux."

Le village de Simonga est très authentique de la pauvreté zambienne sans misère,ici ils sont heureux avec très peu. Pour moi habitué à un peu d'abondance il manque beaucoup ici sans aller à la ville.
