Featuring a wood burning fireplace lounge in the lobby, Basecamp Lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Canmore plus has easy access to the highway. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, along with complimentary on site parking. All rooms are fully equipped with a Keurig coffee machines, flat-screen TV and refrigerator. Some rooms also include a sitting area, a balcony and / or a fireplace, plus a portion of rooms are equipped with full kitchen facilities. Each room features a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower, complimentary locally made toiletries and a hairdryer. Conference space with AV equipment is available, and can cater for up to 50 guests. There is also a catering kitchen next to the conference space designed to service events. A shared cedar sauna is available on-site.

"Het personeel, parkeren en de locatie, centraal gelegen op loopafstand is het centrum, aan de overkant is Blake’s (brouwerij en restaurant), ernaast Rocky Mountain Bagels, je loopt zo naar down town en policeman’s boardwalk. Vooral Morgan en een jonge man wiens naam wij niet kennen, waren uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Uitstekende tips gekregen voor oa huren van bearspray en waar we wild life konden spotten"
"De prijs-kwaliteit is niet helemaal in verhouding, maar dat is geloof ik bijna overal in Banff/Canmore het geval."
"De ligging, gratis parkeren en vlakbij centrum van Canmore. Alle restaurants op loopafstand. Het is ongeveer 20 min rijden naar Banff. Relatief nieuw hotel/lodge, grote kamers. Ligt naast het spoor, maar bijna geen last van de trein."

"Fantastically new and clean facilities with really comfortable beds and fresh, new linen. The double room (2 x double beds) was very spacious with ample storage for clothes and luggage. It was great to be able accurately adjust the heating and keep it at a comfortable level in the room and the key code to the room meant no forgotten or lost swipe cards. It was easy walking distance to a few eateries nearby with a slightly longer walk into the lovely main street which provides more options. Really friendly staff. Overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable week long stay."
"Although there was a spacious kitchen upstairs with kettle and toaster there was no crockery to be able to do anything for breakfast (no plates for toast, no bowls to make porridge/oatmeal in the microwave etc). It's also a shame there are no laundry facilities."
