Appartementen in Tsjaad

"Clean and staff were very friendly. Large room and large bathroom. Enough space to store the clothes."

I used a single room and there were not enough sockets . There were 2 bed side lamps and one didn't have a socket to plug in. I have to put the kettle on the floor. There was an extension wire, where tv,fridge etc were pluged in . Not very professional. More socket points in appropriate places will improve the standards.

De verschillende eigenaar ( ik denk een groot gezin) zijn moeilijk te vinden... dus geen permanente receptie. Na een 5 dagen verblijf wist de eigenares nog steeds niet wat te vertellen. Zelfs vertrokken zonder enige dankbaarheid te tonen... maar dit doet niet af aan de prijs/ kwaliteit aanbieding.

As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

"Het ontbijt was in een woord fantastisch. Pannekoekjes, brood, fruit, taart... huisgemaakte confituur, ook de taart was vers gebakken. Niet te missen. De ontvangst was echt hartelijk. Michel en zijn vrouw zijn echt hartelijke warme mensen. Je komt aan als klant, en je laat vrienden achter bij het weggaan Ik kom zeker terug als ik hier in de regio ben. Een aanrader."

Iets meer keukenspullen zoals bordjes, glazen en bestek zou mooi zijn. Vanuit het appartement zit je in de baai welke tegen pinel aanligt. Helaas is de kustlijn daar modderig en niet zo mooi als Pinel zelf waar je echt mooie zandstranden hebt. Maar met een Sub board en de kanos die bij het huisje liggen kun je hier wel snel naar toe gaan.

"Enorme gastvrijheid, super lieve mensen; zowel de eigenaresse als de dame die de kamers onderhoudt zijn fantastisch. Hartstikke mooie en schone appartementen. Ik zou er zonder enige twijfel terugkeren."

Persoonlijk vond ik het jammer dat er in de keuken geen warm water is. Maar dit schijnt vrij normaal te zijn.

On my last sleep of the week I was disturbed by the above resident, moving furniture and banging in the early hours of my departure day. Also just before 3am, being woken up by my TV having it on a different channel to what I had when I turned it off before going to bed believing someone had trespassed into the property and the thought of my belongings being stolen.

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

"Het appartementencomplex is gunstig gelegen. Ruime vertrekken. Mooi uitzicht en rustige ligging."

We kozen bewust voor een appartement hier in plaats van een hotel om wat meer vrijheid en ruimte te hebben en vooral ook om de privacy die het appartement met ruim zitterras met ligstoelen gaf dat we gehuurd hadden. Bij aankomst werden we echter pas op de hoogte gebracht dat we een ander appartement kregen gezien de airco stuk was. Dit had helaas geen groot terras. Na improvisatie met een klein binnentafeltje konden we min of meer buiten ontbijten, maar het was alles behalve comfortabel tafelen. We mochten het terras van dat andere appartement eventueel gebruiken maar gezien we daarvoor een heel andere ingang moesten nemen, was dat niet de uitkomst. De dag erna bleek de airco hersteld maar werd ons niet de mogelijkheid geboden om alsnog te verhuizen niettegenstaande we duidelijk maakten dat we bewust voor het andere gekozen hadden. De inrichting van de keuken wqs wel erg beperkt. Geen enkel voorraadpotje om iets te bewaren, geen servietje of keukenrol. We moesten echt alles gaan aankopen. Enkel wat peper, zour, koffie en gelukkig ook flesje olijfolie was voorzien. Zelfs geen keukenhanddoek, enkel een klein handdoekje. Wij verbleven hier 5 nachten en kregen niet 1x een propere handdoek. Voor het ontbijt werd de avond ervoor brood aan de deur gehangen, water, eieren, klein potje ananasconfituur en een stukje fruit werd wel in koelkast aangevuld. Dat moesthet ontbijt worden. In een land waar zoveel fruitsap gedronken wordt, verbaasde het ons dat er zelfs geen manueel fruitpersje aanwezig was. Echt koken was echt geen optie maar gelukkig ook niet onze bedoeling. Dat er geen reiniging werd gedaan tijdens het verblijf wisten we maar dan verwacht je wel dat er iets is van een borstel of dergelijke om zelf iets om te kuisen. Ook niet aanwezig dus.

"De ligging is perfect, vlakbij het strand, dicht bij het centrum en toch rustig. Het appartement was heel ruim en van alles voorzien. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hebben ons geholpen met onze verdere reis uit te stippelen. Alles wat ik vroeg werd onmiddellijk in orde gemaakt, heel fijn!"

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

Eigenlijk niets, voor uitgaan en boosschappen een kilometer lopen maar dat is te doen.
