"We liked everything! This can not be described by words. One must come and see the exceptionally beautiful nature of Mariovo, this village Zovich and the nearby village Staravina. The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"

We really can not think of anything we did not like.

"It was so homely and comfortable and had a beautiful balcony. I loved that it was far enough away from Zrce beach but close enough for a cheap uber, allowing us to be in the heart of the real croatia. the beach was so close and was so beautiful and secluded and we all really enjoyed ourselves! It was really easy to use all of the facilities like the job and microwave and shower and we were able to get on with daily activities as usual."

Nothing, everytime we had an issue Ivana would be so kind and sort it out really quickly and easily.

"Zeer lieve mensen. De gastheer spreekt Engels. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. We kregen nog een muzikaal afscheid door de zoon (op komuz). Het guesthouse ligt een beetje afgelegen maar is desalniettemin op een boogscheut van het nationale park Ala Archa."

There was no local stores near by, it can look a little remote especially at night.

Het regende bij aankomst waardoor helaas onze 18 holes pitch and putt wedstrijd hier op het terrein niet door kon gaan.

"The two hosts of the Appartement Hotel are very accommodating and helpful! The location is great, the roof terrace wonderful. We didn't get the apartment which first booked, but two at no extra charge. At first I was skeptical about the change, but the two hosts communicated this honestly and transparently."

We had two apartments, one was quiet, the other had the windows on the side with various bars, this was a bit noisy. It should be noted that this is a busy old and nice town area.

"Mooie, grote en schone woning. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Heerlijke veranda met een fris windje, dus geen muskieten. In Paradise rondgevraagd of iemand een bootje had om naar Bigi Pan te varen en dat is gelukt. We hebben een prachtige boottocht gemaakt van ong. 3 uur."

Niks eigenlijk. Er was een avond een feestje bij de buren met muziek, maar daar kan de eigenaar niks aan doen.

"The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."

"That the owner responded to my phone call to let me know that the studio is not up for rent yet. By doing so, she saved me a trip to Bequia without à place to stay."

That Booking.com is proposing a property which is not available before April 2026. By doing so, I could have ended up on the island of Bequia on a Sunday night with nowhere to sleep.

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."

"De locatie is super. Het appartement is heel schoon. Daarnaast was de host zeer gastvrij en aardig. Hij geeft je tips en beantwoordt je vragen erg snel. Hij helpt je ontzettend goed en je ziet waarlijk dat hij het met alle liefde en plezier doet. Een dikke 10!"

"Mooi schoon app. Met prachtig terras en uitzicht op haven. Dichtbij klein strandje, prima. Uiteindelijk zijn we naar Goverments Beach gegaan 15 min rijden. Heel mooi. Airco erg goed."

Dorpje beetje saai. Paar restaurants. Wilde 1x zelf simpel koken was er maar 1 pan en een kleine koekenpan. Lastig. Bed erg klein jammer. En de slaapkamer was niet goed te verduisteren waardoor ik vroeg wakker wordt.

"Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.

"This tiny "Nook" was delightful - especially the huge wet room with bath and picture window overlooking Arthur's Pass railway. A peaceful location and super comfy."
