Aparthotels op de Cookeilanden

"Net buiten het drukke centrum dus ideaal en lekker rustig. Faciliteiten zoals het zwembad zijn gedateerd, maar waar voor je geld en groot mooi appartement. Bed was lekker groot en lag heerlijk. Fijne badkamer."

Zwembad kan een opfrisser gebruiken. Bijna alle stoelen bij het zwembad zijn kapot.

"Used as a night stop over before catching ferry next day. Midway between airport and ferry port. Room had everything required, was clean and having bar and restaurant on roof is a nice thing as not much else is around in the area. Staff were attentive."

There were small irritations. TV on arrival was not working but sorted after a message to hotel. Signage to bar restaurant is incorrect should be removed. Took a while before being advised of alternative entry point. Check out process could had been more efficient. Taxi driver ended up paying cash for me as lady with card machine not available

"Goede ligging. We hadden een late check in maar dat was allemaal prima verzorgd. Fijn dat dit kon zonder problemen. De wasmachine was erg fijn, ook dat er wasmiddel aanwezig was."

De bedden waren wat hard maar verder een fijn appartement.

"Je zit hier schitterend in de jungle in je eigen huisje. Het terrein is prachtig! Alles mooi gemaakt en goed onderhouden. Mooi zwembad. We zaten in het laagseizoen dus hadden bijna alles voor onszelf."

Het is prijzig. We hadden graag iets meer variatie/mogelijkheden gehad voor eten. De menukaart bood geen goedkope opties en je heb nauwelijks andere mogelijkheden in de buurt wanneer je geen auto hebt.

"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

Había leña y otros objetos en lso parqueos que lo hacían mas difícil de utilizar.

"Clean facilities throughout, the apartment and the shared spaces like the pool. Easy access to hiking trails in the area. We enjoyed the use of the pool, which was kept clean throughout."

"Uitzicht vanuit mijn kamer, de kamer grote en veranda, een van de beste restaurants om te eten in Kigali 12m vanuit mijn bed, dus vooral de locatie!"

Ik was wel de enige gast daar en daarom mijn aankomsttijd 04h30 was een beetje verwarrend en niet professioneel. Te lang wachten om te eten, tipis Africa, pole pole. En een paar kleine dingen die overal in Africa normaal zijn en hoeft echt niet te benoemen allemaal in verband met comfort!

"Zwembad rooftop is heel fijn. En we hadden het penthouse met fijn dakterras."

Zwembad beneden valt wat tegen.

"Het is schoon, de bedden liggen lekker, er liggen handdoeken klaar. De locatie is perfect, strand te lopen, station te lopen."

Als ik iets moet bedenken is de douche. De douchewand is klein en laag waardoor alles nat wordt.

"The hotel is great. The rooms are huge, with two toilets, kitchen and everything else you need, even an iron and ironing board. They changed towels every few days."

"The staff were very polite and attentive, and the rooms were absolutely spotlessly clean! It was by far the best breakfast in Africa! A lovely touch with Homemade granola & even detox juice along with a great selection to sit every tastebud!! Fantastic!"

De keuken was verouderd.

"In the mall makes it super accessible. Apartments are large and well kept. Lovely views over Bahrain. Kind staff. We slept very well."

It is a little way from the main part of town and at the bottom of a very steep hill!

The wifi doesn't work at all uptsairs Some drawers were dusty and the terrace with the table and chairs were not cleaned

Lo único el precio pero bueno es aceptable.

"Royale kamer/woonkamer. Hele goede WIFI, hele fijne badkamer met hele royale en goede douche! Aardige en vriendelijke host, die ook perfect Nederlands spreekt."

Viltjes onder de tafelstoelen zodat die niet zoveel herrie maken met schuiven. In de wijde omgeving zeer veel zwerfvuil. Dieptriest!!! Waait dus ook allemaal erg makkelijk in zee. Onvoorstelbaar dat niemand zich geroepen voelt om dat op te ruimen.

"Ontbijt en locatie. We hadden een appartement met ontbijt in hotel. Mooi uitzicht op het bos. Op loopafstand van alles in het dorpje. Erg goede sauna! Ook droogkast ideaal."

Alleen misschien dat temperatuur lastig te regelen was. Soms wat warm in het appartement.

De kamers waren wat oud, bad in open ruimte

"Het is een gezellig hotel op een goede locatie. De tuin is mooi. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd. Personeel heel vriendelijk. Er hangt een relaxe sfeer. Lekker warme jacuzzi (reserveren)"

Het zwembad is helaas koud. Je moet ook een badmuts op. De douche was niet helemaal warm en lekte/drupte ook.

Te weinig keukengerei

"Grote kamer met volop ruimte, makkelijk ook voor gezinnen. Grote tafel en keuken met basic faciliteiten. 500 meter van metro station waarmee je q0 minuten later hartje stockholm staat. Goede prijs voor ruimte en licatoe"

Er zit geen sfeer ind e kamer, meerdere kapotte lampen, plankje naast bed was afgebroken, badkamer had kapotte wasbak, zijn kleine dingen die niet hoeven, jammer

Some accesss to food - e.g., breakfast. Food on the island is extremenlty expensive from stores. Some neighbors were noisy.
