The Slow Leopard

"The slow leopard is een hele fijne plek om rustig te arriveren wanneer je in het chaotische Dar es Salaam terecht komt. Er is een hele fijne tuin/cafe spot waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen en eten. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en heeft ons heel erg geholpen met het boeken van onze verdere reis. Kamer was prima en badkamer ook."

"De buren hadden twee keer een feestje wat tot best laat door ging snachts, oordoppen mee dus!"

"Het hostel is gelegen in een leuke wijk van dar. In de omgeving is veel te doen. Leuke plek om andere reizigers te ontmoeten."

"The staff in general were nice and warm it felt more like home. On the weekdays its quiet and you can focus on work if you're working from your device and the weekend there is good vibe, music and a lot of fun. I personally recommend this place"

"The staff were incredible, they were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bar and social area was really beautifully set up, and the cats were adorable. The location was great, walking distance to everything that you need and to the waterfront. The room was basic but had everything you needed and the bed was comfortable."

"The air conditioning in our room did leak and the bathrooms could do with updating but all in all, we enjoyed our stay and it was great value for money."

Felt very safe as a female traveller and would highly recommend, will stay here again if ever back in Dar!!"
