Villa Sonata

"De locatie is perfect, midden in het centrum. Hierdoor konden wij alle kanten op en hebben wij niet alleen maar bij het hotel gezeten. Ze hebben 2 zwembaden en het strand is op 5 a 10 minuren loop afstand. De dames die de kamers schoonmaakten waren heel erg vriendelijke en deden heel erg hun best om rekening te houden met het slaapje van onze dochter. Het balkon bij de kamers is ruim genoeg om met een gezin te zitten en ook bij het zwembad heb je genoeg plekjes waar je lekker kunt zitten en en spelletje kunt spelen. De keuken, met koelkast en vriezer in de kamer is ideaal. Met jonge kinderen is het altijd fijn wat eten te kunnen maken op de kamer."

"Het personeel wat achter de receptie zat was er vaak niet en de receptie is naast het zwembad. Hierdoor werden de kids af en toe aan gesproken dat ze niet te druk mochten doen in het zwembad omdat anders alles rondom de receptie nat werd. Niet heel erg, maar was een klein minpuntje. Ander minpuntje was dat je een flink stuk omhoog moest lopen naar het hotel. In de hitte was dit niet altijd even leuk. Voor ons was het geen probleem, maar als je slecht ter been bent zou ik dit hotel niet boeken."

"De ligging was voor mij perfect. Niet in de drukte en zeer centraal. Winkels en restaurants om de hoek. Personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was groot en met balkon wat wel fijn was. Waterkoker, koelkast en keukentje waren ook aanwezig. Echt top."

"The villa itself is very beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The outdoor area is especially nice, and overall the place feels comfortable and well-designed. Everything about the space was enjoyable and we really liked staying there."

"Unfortunately, the cleaning service was not up to standard. The floor was not swept regularly unless we specifically asked, and even then it was sometimes still not properly cleaned — there were often hairs left on the floor. Towels were not replaced with clean ones, even after cleaning was requested. We stayed for 10 days, and for two people only one bar of soap was provided for the entire stay, which was also not replaced. It felt like the cleaning was either incomplete or only partially done. We understand that in some places tips are expected, and we are absolutely fine with tipping for good service. However, it’s difficult to tip when the service itself is not properly provided. It gave the impression that tips were expected before the work was actually done, which felt unusual."

"Location is good, but the are 250 meters up hill walking to get to the hotel. Fitness that is not for everyone, I guess. Taxi would cost you some extra money then. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. Small kitchenette in the apartment helped a lot."

"Heavy aroma used for bed sheets washing, that might cost you an unexpected asthma hit one day. Nearby Kleopatra beach is heavily poluted with tons of cats shit, making it's wonderful sand to a dangerous smelly substance."

"Its a very steep climb up to the hotel. Our room had a patio that was facing the wall and lots of cleaning equpiment, but we only stayed for one night so that didnt bother us too much. Walls and doors could have been better sound proofed."

"Great location and great staff. Upgraded to a panoramic view room and it was a great decision. Room was very spacious with a fantastic view of the bay and mountain. Decor a bit dated but confortable. Excellent value. Breakfast was simple but sufficient."
