"De locatie vlakbij Topkapi en Hagia Sophia was goed voor een eerste bezoek aan Istanbul, vooral de eerste dagen. Ook de Grote Bazaar is op loopafstand. De tramhalte is vrij dichtbij. Het uitzicht vanuit de ontbijtzaal was mooi. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam."
"De kamer was uiteindelijk vrij klein voor een verblijf van 11 nachten. Het bed (twee eenpersoons bedden die samen waren gevoegd tot een tweepersoons bed) was ok, maar niet het meest comfortabel voor twee personen. De muziek bij het ontbijt was telkens hetzelfde. De buurt is prima, maar erg toeristisch: er zijn veel andere (goedkopere) buurten die het ontdekken waard zijn, Karaköy, Kadiköy. Had ik dat geweten dan had ik 4-5 nachten in Fatih geboekt en ook 3-4 nachten in de buurt van Galata of Moda en 1-2 nachten op Adalar."

"The location is amazing, everything is super close so as T1 line, so it’s no problem. But the most amazing part is staff! They are so thoughtful and kind and will help you with anything. You have variety of options for breakfast but it’s the same every day"

"Kaftan hotel was in a fabulous location to all the sites you want to visit. Staff were friendly and very helpful. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. Would only suggest that there be a kettle with some tea in the room. I would definitely stay there again."
