La Diguoise

"Heerlijk rustig met alle appartementjes in mooi onderhouden tropische tuin. Fijn zwembadje om af te koelen. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Lekker lokaal eten, zowel voor ontbijt als diner. Fietsen (onmisbaar op dit eiland) direct te huren bij accomodatie. Loop of fiets het rustige straatje uit en je hebt supermarktjes en eventueel restaurantjes om de hoek."

"The place was amazing with nice garden, and great vibe. The landlady was kind and so helpful with booking bicycles and taxi. The breakfast and the dinner were part of the charm with fresh fruits and food. Plus, as a female solo traveller, I always felt safe here."

"We stayed for 2 nights so we could spend a couple of days exploring La Digue. We booked a room but were upgraded to a bungalow which was lovely. The grounds were beautify and the pool great. Staff were fantastic too and the food great."

"The hotel is a fair trek from the ferry which is not ideal with bags, we were able to grab a lift from a local but… La Diguoise is in a great position for exploring Grand Anse D’Argent which is a 10 minute walk away or, Grand Anse (45 minute walk away) / Anse Petite & Anse CoCo (a further 30 minute challenging walk). The bars and restaurants and the cool Bikini Bottom bar in Anse Severe are a 20 to 40 minute walk in the other direction."

"sehr nette kleine Unterkunft mit sehr netten Damen bei der Rezeption. Man konnte sich direkt dort Räder ausborgen, zu einem guten Preis. Anlage ist hübsch und gut gepflegt. Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert."

"Das Frühstück hat uns nicht so gut geschmeckt. Interessant war, dass es immerwieder neue exotische Marmeladen gab und ein Pluspunkt für das Omelett (das allerdings mal größer und mal kleiner ausfiel), aber das Brot dazu war für mich kaum essbar. Das Toastbrot war nur selten wirklich getoastet. Die Fenster bei den Zimmern sind nicht dicht, da es sich um Lamellenfenster handelt. Deshalb kommt ständig warme Luft rein und auch kleines Getier. Fliegengitter an den Fenstern wären der Hit, dann könnte man im Falle eines Stromausfalls in der Nacht auch die Lamellenfenster öffnen, ohne dass (größere) Tiere und Insekten hereingelangen können."

"Supermysigt lugnt boende med omtänksam personal. Bekväma välstädade rum. Jättegod frukost och middag i deras ”uterum”. Personalen hjälpte oss med cyklar, transfer och massor med tips."

"Un besoin de rénovation du côté de la piscine (marches abîmées) et les transats à disposition de ceux qui n’ont pas loués les chambres modernes attenantes à cette piscine sont cassés et sans matelas confortable. Le budget (qui le vaut) est tout de même conséquent et à l’image du magnifique séjour sur l’île …j’ai trouvé dommage que ces équipements -là dénotent un peu. Il fait très très chaud dans la chambre mansardée : heureusement que la Clim y remédiait rapidement et j’ai eu la visite de pas mal d’insectes locaux , à la différence de la chambre située de plein pied. Le fait de ne pas pouvoir régler le séjour par virement bancaire à l’avance pour s’éviter de se déplacer avec une sacrée somme cash en euros, afin d’éviter des frais élevés de paiement CB Visa."
