"Our stay at High Ground Villa was honestly perfect. Jean Claude, the host, was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond for us, even upgrading us to a bigger place at no extra cost because it was available (felt like getting bumped from economy to business class 😊). That gesture alone says a lot about the kind of person he is. The staff were all polite, warm, and especially kind to my toddler, which meant a lot to us as a family. Breakfast each morning was generous and thoughtfully prepared. What stood out most was the atmosphere, you can genuinely feel the family-focused values the place upholds. It’s peaceful, wholesome, and people of faith would especially appreciate the environment. We truly enjoyed every bit of our 9 nights and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended."

"There are quite a few things to love about the High Ground Villa. First of all, communication with the owner was clear, polite, and helpful from the very first moment after I made the reservation. More importantly, both the owner and the staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and supportive. We truly needed that, as we were moving to Kigali for two years with our whole family. Anyone who has gone through such a move knows how much that kind of help means when settling into a new country — and even a new continent in our case. Jean Claude, the owner, went above and beyond our expectations as a host. Lastly, the villa’s location and the breathtaking views over Kigali are just outstanding. The nicely kept garden, colorful flowers, fresh air, peaceful atmosphere, and a touch of surrounding wilderness made it a wonderful place to start our African adventure."

The apartments at High Ground Villa are 10/10. Absolutely beautiful decor, the beds are so comfortable and the entire complex is clean and cosy. I honestly can't do justice with words, as to how good High Ground Villas are! Exceeded all of our expectations and more. The location is peaceful with amazing birds eye views of the city below. Cynthia, the maid is brilliant 👏, she cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is full of fresh ripe fruits, omelette and much more. You don't just feel like a customer here, you feel like an old friend and part of this wonderful family.
