"De locatie. Landelijk gelegen, maar zeker niet ver van Braga. Onze zoon heeft genoten van het landgoed, zwembad en alles wat er te zien is. De eigenaar is ontzettend vriendelijk en legt graag alles uit. Het ontbijt is met zelf gemaakt gebak erg veelzijdig en vers. Het is opvallend schoon allemaal voor zo’n ontzettend oud gebouw en omdat allemaal zo schoon te houden. Het is een zeer mooie omgeving."

"De bedden waren iets wat aan de harde kant. Maar dat valt zeker weg tegen alle dingen die mooi, goed en leuk waren aan deze locatie."

"Prachtige goed onderhouden historische locatie die met zorg aan de eisen van deze tijd is aangepast. Uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen en verzorgd: Uitstekend ontbijt. Goede diner opties op loop afstand, zowel wat chiquer als lokaal. Oprijlaan en kerk zijn een absolute pre van deze locatie"

"The breakfast was excellent, well presented and with a wide range of choice and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were offered scrammbled egg fresh from the owners hens too. The ownere was very friendly and keen to share the history of the property...The location was idyllic, and the room we had was very comfortable. The swimming pool was a great place to relax after sightseeing. We found an excellent local restaurant close by for our evening meal, and enjoyed walking around the estate after that."

"I was surprised that there were no sun umbrellas around the pool, despite our summer visit, and the loungers/cushions were not in a good state."

"An historic quinta built from stone and lovingly restored into bedrooms that are comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Wonderful staff looking after us, and a nice continental breakfast."

"Would have liked a kettle in the room for an early cup of coffee, and the water pressure in the sink was a trickle (though the shower was fine)."

"We liked everything! The place is a dream, the host is very welcoming and the breakfast was tasty and fresh. We planned to stay one night and at the end we stayed for 5 nights."

"Beautiful place, full of history!!! Great atmosphere and climate of the place. Highly recommend. 6 minutes from the Villa is lidl, you can go and do your grocery shopping. However, it is hard to get around without a car."
