Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. This family-run lodge is known as the first and only property in the area featuring five fully natural hot spring pools, which emerge directly from the mountain and reach temperatures of up to 40 °C. The pools are set along the riverside and are strictly for the exclusive use of registered guests. The lodge is well-regarded for offering an authentic and natural experience in a truly unique setting. Rooms are built on Andean terraces, surrounded by gardens and camping areas. The wooden cabins blend harmoniously with the environment and offer both private and shared bathroom options, hot water, and an on-site eetruimte with a bar. Llahuar Lodge also provides tourist information and luggage storage services. Free private parking is available at a nearby location. Thanks to its privileged location in the heart of nature, the property is ideal for hiking and exploration. The terrain is expansive and includes several elevation changes, offering a deep connection with the Andean landscape.

"Goed geregeld en we kregen een gratis kamerupgrade. De hotsprings beneden bij de rivier zijn ideaal na een flinke dag hiken! De huisjes zijn erg leuk opgezet en vanaf de gezamenlijke ruimte heb je fantastisch uitzicht. Ook chille faciliteiten qua pooltafel etc! Lieve familie."

"Hele mooie locatie en fijn dat wij een badkamertje in het huisje hadden. De hotsprings zijn heel fijn om te ontspannen na een lange dag hiken. Qua avondeten moet je voor 17:00 aangeven of je mee eet en wat je wilt eten. Voldoende vegetarische opties. Ook gezellig dat er wat honden rondlopen!"
"Het is vrij basic, dus de huisjes zijn ook niet echt geïsoleerd. Er zitten vrij veel insecten en spinnen in het huisje, dus neem deel mee. Ook oordopjes zijn handig!"

"The hosts are very kind and quick to answer via message or help in person. One day I forgot my keys and was locked in between my room and the front door. Even though I had no phone I managed to contact them and they came immediately to rescue me. The location is outstanding. The beach is immediately in front of the door and you hear the beautiful sound of the ocean all day. Groceries can be done by foot or Motortaxi as well as ATMs. The only accomodation that is not overpriced in Zorritos!"
