"Lekker hotel met ruime kamer, groot bed (kamer 8) en prima ontbijt. Super ingestelde airco die geen, ja echt geen, lawaai maakt. Voor je deur een hangmat, en op loopafstand naar strand en een paar winkeltjes. De meeste mensen verplaatsen zich met behulp van golfkarretjes maar die hebben we alleen benut bij aankomst en vertrek van en naar de boot. De naastgelegen vliegtuigstrip was voor ons een bron van vermaak. Late checkout om tot 15.00 was super"

"Er is wat achterstallig onderhoud en simpele dingen kunnen prima verholpen worden (bv kraanwastafel, piepende badkamerdeur). Daar is niet echt oog voor. Het is wat stil op het eiland, zeker door de week. Wij waren er 5 nachten, dat waren er eigenlijk 2 teveel. Ook omdat de boot om 09.30 aankomt en pas om 15.30 vertrekt. Dit geeft je als het ware 2 extra dagen."

"Close to 2 beaches, spacious room, well equipped - fridge, coffee machine, TV with streaming services available, aircon very well placed and functioning. Free coffee and tea available in the restaurant."

"The rented vehicle was a terrible drive - could barely manoeuvre it (including braking) - at times felt quite unsafe. Dog kept on a chain (!!!) by the hotel. Some of the staff were not too pleasant (not all though!)."

"We were welcomed at the dock, coffee always available. Nice restaurant on site. Rent a golf cart for your stay! We think this made our holiday perfectly! The island is walkable with lots of places to explore."

"Each and everyone of the staff members worked so hard and were so very friendly, making our stay seem like a 5star accommodation. Thank you, thank you! You are the hardest working staff we encountered and so happy! The breakfasts are included and made to order. We were so comfortable and enjoyed the food & staff so much we ate dinner there every night. Delicious and easily accommodated my gluten-free diet. There are so many other places on the island that have shuttered, but not Gerald's. The building is so well built we did not hear our fellow vacationers staying above us. Beds were comfortable and everything is so clean. The proximity to the airport was actually enjoyable. We could only hear the planes for a short moment and they were fun to watch. Playa Larga is a short easy walk away that's both beautiful & clean with a restaurant to buy refreshments. We would definitely stay there again."

"It is where I feel most at home. The staff, the other visitors - it seems to attract people I appreciate. And it is right close to My Private Beach (yes, if we can change the gulf of Mexico to you knowwhat, please can i change Playa de Las Suecas to Playa de Giselle?!)"
