"We had such a wonderful stay after a trip to Hobbiton. The house is beautiful and Jen & Demi were such wonderful hosts, for both us and our three children. They made a fire pit to toast marshmallows and laid on a delicious breakfast spread. Thank you!"

"Amazing concept put together by the owner of the house who built it himself. The house is a perfect blend of form and functionality. House with no nails! We had learnt alot about the building when chatting with Jen. She's such a darling and hosted us with warmth and care. The views were stunning. Couldn't agree more that it's a million dollars view. Star gazing at night was a bonus. And yes, we also spotted the milky way!"

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Het is een hotel in retro stijl midden in het centrum van Wellington. De receptie, lift en gangen zijn echt jaren 30 stijl. Het vertrekpunt van de cable car is recht tegenover het hotel. Onder/naast het hotel is een parkeergeraren waar men enkele etages gereserveerd heeft voor gasten, maar wel tegen betaling (Euro 20,- per nacht) . Met de lift kom je direct in het hotel uit. Perfect geregeld. Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende. De kamer was groot genoeg met een heerlijke vernieuwde badkamer."
