"Hukum haalde ons met zijn jeep op bij het busstation na een lange busreis vanuit Kathmandu. De eerste dag hebben we genoten van de prachtige omgeving waar het huis staat. In de avond hebben we met Hukum onze plannen doorgesproken, hij denkt heel fijn met je mee. Uiteindelijk zijn we 5 nachten gebleven omdat het gewoon zo’n mooie plek is. We zijn samen met Hukum op meerdere safari’s geweest en hebben geweldige dieren gezien in Bardia National Park, waaronder olifanten, een tijger, neushoorns, dansende pauwen en verschillende soorten herten. Hukum heeft meer dan 30 jaar ervaring als gids en heeft hierdoor veel ervaring met het opsporen van tijgers. Jungle Base Camp is een echt familiebedrijf. Hukum’s vrouw, Krishna, kookt 3 keer per dag heerlijke maaltijden voor je en zijn zoontje leert je nog wat cricket bij. Wij hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf en als we ooit weer in Nepal zijn dan komen we zeker weer!"

"We hebben een jeep tour, walking tour, en een nacht in de boomhut geslapen. Het gastgezin was super lief en behulpzaam. Ze deden alle moeite om het ons zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Het eten was een vast menu maar was altijd heerlijk. Zelfs even gebarbecued. Ook werd er rekening gehouden met je etensvoorkeuren. We kregen zelfs een souvenir mee. Ondanks we geen tijgers hebben gezien hebben we een leuk verblijf gehad."

"We stayed with Hukum and his family for three nights. It was everything we ever hoped for and more. Him and his family do everything to make you feel welcome and at home. The home-cooked food is great and we even got to eat their home grown potatoes.The bonfires in the evening were great to stay warm and have a chat with each other. The room, bed and bathroom were also very good. The clay paintings on the outside of the huts are a very nice detail. We did two safaris: one walking safari and one jeep safari. Both were amazing. They were guided by Hukum and Ksab and they are both so professional. On the safaris we've seen the beautiful landscape of Bardiya, the most beautiful birds, deer, otters, crocodile and the cherry on top was a very impressive tiger. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience. 🥰"

"I stayed with my friend 4 days and we had a wonderful time here. Hukum went to jungle Safari with us, he is an experienced wildlife guide and we spottet lots of animals. His wife cooked tasty food every day fresh from their organic garden for us. She made extra veggi food for my diet and lunch package for all for jungle trekking. Bungalow was cosy, bathroom with hot shower and free WiFi. All in all we felt very welcome. Hukum helped us arranging the transport and overnight bus back to Kathmandu. Communication was easy, he cares a lot to make his guests feel good. In the evening he made campfire for us. The area is safe and lots of things to see around here. We will definitely come back."

"Very lovely host family. This small accomodation was wonderful. The beds are clean and the bathroom is basic, but has a good hot shower. The hosts make delicious meals with fresh ingredients. He is a very good guide for Jeep safari and walking safari, with a very fair price. We felt at home and kept staying longer."

"The location was exceptional and it is a beautiful vegetation. you can observe the life of the people in the surrounding villages. The jeep safari was great and the guides put a lot of effort into it so that I could see animals. The hosts are very warm and nice and I was always good and deliciously served."
"The loud music during the overnight stay in the jungle, which started very early and apparently just didn't stop. I can only hope for the next one that it was a local festivity and not a happening every night"

"Bhiurankot Hill Top Resort is a serene escape with stunning panoramic views, beautiful gardens, and a refreshing pool. My room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, with free WiFi.
